Monday CoEd Fall Week 5

Post by blouderback »

After 5 weeks of play this fall, the usual suspects are bubbling to the top of the stats leaderboard. In the American Division, Nick Cataldi, Kyle Smith, Brian Dart, Jon Poore, and Mark Cooper top the list. Dart is leading the division in RBI's with 13. Dart and Coop, along with Ian Cuozzo, lead the division in homers with 3 each. Smith's 1750 slugging percentage is second only to Coop's 1818. Despite having the top 3 players in stats, Altek Hard Drives is hovering just at .500 with a 3-3 record. GFP leads the division at 4-1 with ICB hot on its heels.

In the National Division, Tim Frei, Ryan Catania, Evan Grzymkowski, male Eddie Kevin Shinkunas, and Greg Lesher top the stats. Frei leads all with a 1565 slugging%, 8 extra base hits and 6 homers, Catania leads with 16 RBIs and an .857 average, Grzy with his speed has 6 extra base hits as does Shinkunas. The standings are tight in the National Division, with the MuckDogs (4-1) currently holding onto a half game lead over the Dirty dogs and Wehrung's Lumber (both 4-2).

In the Patriot Division, 4 of the the top 5 stats leaders belong to Dingers, Doubles, and Dives, in Keenan First, Mike Ercolino, Male Eddie Bill Jones, and Tyler Hoeksema. Aaron Worthington from the Maize is the only other player in the top 5 outside of Triple D's. Worthington leads the division in homers with 5. Erco has 3 and Ferst has 2 right behind him. Old man Jones is putting on a clinic for us Eddies - 1429 slugging and an .875 batting average with 5 extra base hits in 14 at bats. Honerable mention goes to Javier Torres with a 1500 slugging%. With all those stats leaders, it's no puzzle why DDDs are in 1st place with a 4-2 record, and The Maize is right there with them at 4-2.
