Game 1: Monsters & Menthols vs. Only Fans

MAM starts off hot with six runs in the top of the first on back to back doubles by Sean Nonemacher and Alex Freeman, and a Tom Koelzer two run homer. OF answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. Alex Freeman and Nate Evans rip RBI doubles for MAM in the top of the second. A leadoff double by John Erb nets OF two runs in the bottom of the third. Drew and Sean Murphy blast homers for OF in the bottom of the fourth. MAM scores six runs in the top of the sixth on singles. MAM adds seven runs in the top of the seventh thanks to singles, and doubles by Bill Brancto and Jim Plunkett. Monsters & Menthols takes care of Only Fans, 21-8.

Game 2: Outkast vs. Philly Junk

Game 3: Monsters & Menthols vs. Hagan’s Heroes

Singles get MAM four runs in the top of the first. MAM bats around in the top of the second to pick up nine runs with singles, a two run triple by Alex Freeman, and a Tom Koelzer two run homer. HH gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the third. Cody Runner jacks a solo homer for MAM in the top of the fourth. Alex Freeman and Tom Koelzer smash back to back homers for MAM in the top of the sixth. HH scores six runs in the bottom of the sixth with singles. HH rallies for three runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles. Monsters & Menthols tops Hagan’s Heroes, 18-10.

Game 4: Philly Junk vs. Lady Birds

Back to back doubles by Scott F and Brandon B net PJ two runs in the top of the first. LB answers with two runs in the bottom of the first. Jarrett Kerns smokes a three run double for PJ in the top of the second. James Mc smashes a two run homer for LB in the bottom of the third. Joey P launches a two run homer for LB in the bottom of the fourth. PJ bats around in the top of the fifth to get nine runs with doubles by Jarrett Kerns, Scott F, and Rae L, and a Chelsea D triple. Brandon B jacks a three run homer for PJ in the top of the sixth. Philly Junk takes down the Lady Birds, 20-9
