Game #1 – The Runs vs. The Maize at Windingbrook

Runs will get this game rollings with a solo homer off the bat of Bob Ridenour. Rebecca Brennan will add two more runs with a two run single to make this a 3-0 game. Maize will get two runs back in the bottom of the inning with a two run homer from Aaron Worthington. Runs will get that right back in the second with an error and RBI single from Matt Kovaleski. Runs will keep it rolling in the third, with some more runs on RBI singles from Kyle Exner and Brennan. Erik Cusano and Exner smash back to back homers in the fourth as they really start to push away in this game. Aaron Worthington will get a couple back in the sixth with another homer, but they will still trail by too much in this game and will fall. Runs win 14-5.

Game #2 – Phanatics Batmen vs. Muckdogs

Muckdogs will shut the Batmen down in order to start this game and then explode in the bottom of the first, smashing a total of 15 runs. Ryan Hamilton will clear the bases with a double, followed by a Bill Hamill RBI double. Doug Perikin, Evan Grymkowski and Chelsea Detweiler than all bring in runs on singles, but again here comes Hamilton, this time smashing a grand slam. Big Z will then smash a solo homer to round out the inning. Here comes Muckdogs again in the second, for eight more runs as it is looking apparent that this game may end early. Peikin will add two runs on a double, while Bill Stone adds two runs on a double and single. Batmen will get rolling in the third as they push six across, thanks to back to back singles from Scott Gerhart and Zach Walsh, but that is quickly ended as Muckdogs push across another 10 runs. Tony Cabot smashes a two run bomb while the rest of the team brings in runs on singles. They will crush it in this one and win big. Muckdogs win 33-10.

Game #3 – Dirty Balls vs. Quality Landscape

The last game of the night gets rolling with two innings of complete dominance on defense from both teams. Lauren F gets the scoring started with a two run double, followed by a Mason E RBI single as they lead 3-0. Dirty Balls would tie the game up in the fourth. Tim Frei breaks their scoring drought with a solo homer and is then followed up with RBI singles from Brie D and Jason D. Dirty Balls will keep in rolling in the fifth batting around and getting five more runs. Jason D and Nick P have RBI singles while Frei has another big hit, this time a two run triple. Quality really struggle late in this one as they can only manage two runs for the rest of the game. Frei will help put this game away with a late two run double as they will shut it down defensively and win this won. Dirty Balls win 13-5.
