5 seed Hitmen VS 4 seed Dugout Demons

Hitmen cross two in the first with RBI singles from Dave Hopkins and Mark Kannengeiszer. Dugout Demons get one in the bottom of the second off of a John Wagner solo Home Run. The third is scoreless and then the fourth sees Dugout Demons take the lead in the 4th off a two run Home Run from Scott Masulis. Dugout Demons get 3 more in the 5th with a three run TJ Pergine Home Run. The top of the sxith sees a John Slack 2 run Home Run for the Hitmen, their first runs since the first, to cut it to 6-4. In the top of the 7th Mark Kannengeiszer hits a solo home run to bring Hitmen within 1, but they can’t cross the plate again and Dugout Demons advance in a defensive game.

6 seed Sprouse Electric VS 3 seed Morning Wood

Sprouse comes out and scores three in the first off an rbi single from Damien Scott, a bases loaded walk from Drake Sprouse, and a second bases loaded walk from Bryan King. Morning Wood matches them with their bats instead of walks, getting a 2 run Home Run from Nick Carl and an rbi single from Tim Gluck. Morning Wood grabs 2 in the 3rd off a two run Home Run from Tim Frei to take the lead, and that 5-3 score holds until the 6th, when Sprouse gets 5 highlighted- by a three run Home Run from Drake Sprouse. Morning Wood gets one in the bottom off a solo Nick Pigott Home Run, but Sprouse gets it right back in the top of the seventh off an rbi single from Bryan King. Down 3, Morning Wood gets only one base runner before they fall to the 6 seed Sprouse Electric in the upset.

6 seed Dugout Demons VS 1 seed Birds of War

Demons get three in the first off rbi singles from John Wagner and AJ Dejewski and that is all the scoring we see for the first three innings. Dugout Demons get a solo Home Run from Scott Marculos to extend the lead to 4-0 before Birds of War get their first run on a sac fly from Chris Day. Dugout Demons double their runs with 4 in the 5th off a TJ Pergine solo Home Run, AJ Dejewski two rbi double, and Nate Gregory rbi single. Birds of War match the big inning though, with a two run Home Run from Jay Cowan and solo Home Runs from Scott Chmura and Ryan McAvey, but using all three of their home runs in one inning. Demons cant cross the plate again in the game and we go to the bottom of the 7th with the 1 seed Birds of War down 8-5. Austin Devlin reaches on an error but then Matt Jacobson puts the ball out for the second out. Scott Cmura knocks Devlin in with an rbi double and then Alex Olmeda knocks him in on a single. Jeff Rivera walks to load the bases with 2 outs down by one, but Birds of War cant deliver and the 4 seed advances to the finals.

6 Seed Sprouse Electric VS 2 Seed Philly’s Phinest

Sprouse starts the game off with a 2 run Home Run from Damien Scott, but Philly’s Phinest doubles it with 4 in the bottom. They get a 2 run Home Run from Mike Rocks Jr and then a sac fly from Chris Culvar and rbi single from Tony Summers. Sprouse will get one in the top of the 2nd with an Austin Sher rbi single. In the third Philly’s Phinest gets two more off a Tony Summers 2 run Home Run to take a 6-3 lead. Sprouse Electric will tie it up with a 3 run Home Run from Jared Katz in the top of the 4th, but Philly’s Phinest brings the offense that no one else had all day at the small Hatfield field. They score 5 in the bottom of the 4th, getting a sac fly from Joe Carpio, two run Home Run from Steve Johnson, and a big run of a routing 6-3 play for Rob Phillipi to take an 11-6 lead. Sprouse gets one in the 5th when Nieko Conti scores on an error, but Philly’s Phinest closes this one out in the bottom of the sixth. They bat around and score 6 runs, getting an rbi douvle from Ray Rocks, a Chris Culver rbi, a Rob Phillipi rbi double, rbi single from John Quartullo and Billy Schubert, and an rbi double from Mike Rocks Sr.

Phillys Phinest advances to the finals 17-7
