Game #1 – Wehrung’s vs. Muckdogs
Both teams will come out a little sluggish at the plate as Wehrung’s are the only ones to score in the first two innings, getting two runs on a solo homer from Luke Hendricks and another from RBI single from Lowell Snyder. Wehrung’s will really have an inning in the third, getting seven total runs on RBI singles from Luke Hendricks, Kyle Hendricks and Adam Hendricks. Muckdogs will finally get on the board in the third with RBI singles from Tony Cabot and Chelsea Detweiler, but they will get rolling from there as they add four runs in the fourth and eight runs in the fifth. Ryan Hamilton adds two runs on a single and another run on a sac fly. Doug Peikin adds two runs on a triple and Brenda Burns, Tony Cabot and Brielle Eve all add RBI’s on singles. Wehrung’s really slow down and will fall late in this one, as Muckdogs steal it. Muckdogs win 16-11.

Game #2 – Carroll’s vs. Dirty Balls

Dirty Balls will get three runs back on a Tim Frei three run bomb. Dirty Balls will get another homer from Frei in the third, this time a two run shot, which will tie the game up. Carroll’s will grab the lead in the fourth on a solo bomb from Mike Stacey, but that will be short lived as Balls will grab two runs on a double from Josh Carl as they now grab the lead for the first time today. Here come Carroll’s grabbing six runs over the fifth and sixth inning. Greg Lesher and Kyle Gallagher go back to back with RBI doubles and Steve DiGiovanni knocks in two runs on a single. Dirty Balls also get six runs across the fifth and sixth inning thanks in large part to a Tim Gluck grand slam. Carroll’s will score two in the top of the seventh and take a one run lead, on a two run bomb from Bill Shipe. Dirty Balls come up in the bottom half of the inning and will grab a couple baserunners but can’t push any across and will fall in this one. Caroll’s win 14-13.
