Game 1: Dark Horse vs Purple Cobras

Game got off to a slow start with neither team scoring in the first two innings. Purple Cobras opened the scoring in the top of the 3rd scoring three runs on an RBI double by Rey Jimenez and an error. Dark Horse would score one run in the bottom of the 3rd on a homer by Alex Valeri as they trailed 3-1 after three. A sac fly in the top of the fourth would score one run for Purple Cobras to go up 4-1. Dark Horse would cut the deficit to one in the bottom of the 5th after an RBI double by Valeri and an RBI single by Bill Jones. Purple Cobras would score two runs in the top of the 6th on a sac fly and an RBI single by Jordan Roman. Ryan Schock would keep things close for Dark Horse after his two run RBI double in the bottom of the 6th to make the score 6-5 Purple Cobras heading into the 7th. Purple Cobras would add four insurance runs in the top of the 7th on an RBI triple by Dan Roman, RBI double by Brandon Roman, RBI single by CJ Brancato and a sac fly to put them up 10-5. After a leadoff double, Dark Horse went down 1-2-3. Purple Cobras wins a low scoring contest 10-5.

Game 2: Purple Cobras vs Stiff Sox

Stiff Sox got first at bat and scored one run on a sac fly. Purple Cobras would score their own run via a sac fly in the bottom of the 1st tying the game at 1-1 after the first. In the top of the 2nd, Stiff Sox scored 2 runs on an RBI double by Jason Hudachek and an RBI single by Andrew Bertolino to take a 3-1 lead after 2. They would score one more in the top of the 3rd on an RBI double by Alex DeCristofano. Purple Cobras would score five runs in the bottom of the 3rd on RBI singles by Cody Runner and CJ Brancato, RBI double by Matt Meindl and a sac fly to retake the lead 6-4 after the 3rd. An error by Purple Cobras in the top of the 4th would lead to one run scoring for Stiff Sox. Cody Runner would answer for Purple Cobras on his homer in the bottom of the 4th to lead 7-5. Purple Cobras would extend the lead in the bottom of the 5th on RBI singles by Meindl and Robby Villa to take a 10-5 lead. Stiff Sox would get one back in the top of the 6th on an RBI single by Pat Echevarria. Purple Cobras added insurance in the bottom of the 6th as they scored four runs on a homer by Runner, RBI double by Tim Gardner and RBI singles by Tom Friedman and Meindl to go up 14-6 after the 6th. Stiff Sox would go down 1-2-3 in the top of the 7th. Purple Cobras goes 2-0 on the day as they won 14-6 over Stiff Sox.

Game 3: Stiff Sox vs Doc's Irish Pub

Doc's Irish Pub came out of the gates swinging as they scored five runs in the top of the 1st on an RBI double by Brett Keszczyk, RBI triple by Chip Margiotta and a fielder's choice. Stiff Sox would score one run in the bottom of the 1st on an RBI single by Riley Denton as they trailed 5-1 after the first. Stiff Sox would score two runs in the bottom of the 3rd on an error and an RBI single by Alex DeCristofano to make the score 5-3 after three. In the top of the 4th, Doc's would score five more runs on RBI singles by AJ Bagushinski and Sam Matos and a couple errors to up 10-3 after four. Stiff Sox would score one run in the bottom of the 6th on an RBI triple by Tom Gallagher to make the score 10-4 heading into the 7th. Doc's would add three insurance runs in the top of the 7th on an RBI double by Kyle Budynkiewcz and an RBI single by Keszczyk. Stiff Sox would fail to score in the 7th. Doc's wins 13-4 over Stiff Sox.

Game 4: One Hit Wonders vs Pitches Be Trippin

Brendon McCoy got the scoring started for Pitches Be Trippin in the top of the 1st on an RBI triple. One Hit Wonders answered immediately in the bottom of the 1st scoring seven runs to take the lead on RBI singles from Jimmy Cooker, Andy Springer, Mike Trivino, Tom O'Neil and Walt Zona and an RBI double from CC Witt. Pitches Be Trippin would chip away scoring one run in the top of the 3rd on an RBI double by Tim Graff and three runs in the top of the 4th on a homerun by Anthony Perretti, RBI triple by Paul Abendroth and a sac fly to cut the deficit to 7-5. One Hit Wonders would get a couple runners in scoring position but could not extend the lead. In the top of the 5th, Pitches Be Trippin would score 4 more runs on an RBI single by Graff and a couple sacrifices to take a 9-7 lead. One Hit Wonders would continue to struggle at the plate and could not get anything going. Pitches Be Trippin would score three insurance runs in the top of the 7th on another RBI single by Graff and an RBI single by CJ McCafferty to take a 12-7 lead. One Hit Wonders put a couple runners on in the bottom of the 7th via the walk but could not move them. Pitches Be Trippin comes back to defeat One Hit Wonders 12-7.

Game 5: One Hit Wonders vs Pitch Please

After a scoreless first inning, Pitch Please got on the board first in the top of the 2nd, scoring two runs on RBI singles by John Beard and Armand Cencetti. One Hit Wonders would score five runs in the bottom of the 2nd on an error, a sac fly and RBI singles by Jack Stepnowski and CC Witt to take a 5-2 lead. Pitch Please would answer in the top of the 3rd scoring 3 runs of their own on a sac fly and an RBI double by Mike Sheridan to tie the game. One Hit Wonders would continue adding as they scored four runs in the bottom of the 3rd on an RBI triple by Tom O'Neil, RBI double by Witt and a sac fly to go up 9-5 after the third. Pitch Please would get two back in the top of the 4th on an RBI single by Kyle Lowery and a sac fly. A sac fly in the bottom of the 5th for One Hit Wonders would extend their lead to 10-7. Pitch Please would tie the game in the top of the 6th on a pair of homers by Lowery and Bill Larkin. Walks would hurt Pitch Please in the bottom of the 6th as they gave up 5 runs on RBI singles by Witt and Groff, a fielder's choice and a walk to go up 15-10 after six. Pitch Please would fail to score in the 7th and ended the game. One Hit Wonders wins a back and forth 15-10 over Pitch Please.
