Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Sinister
Singles and a two run double by Ron Pulli leads to five runs for HH in the top of the first. Sinister answers with three runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a Vinny C RBI double, and an RBI triple by Brandon Birkhead. Brandon Birkhead rips a two run double for Sinister in the bottom of the second. Sinister puts up six runs in the bottom of the fourth on singles, and doubles by Andrew C, Rodney, and Rae L. HH bats around in the top of the fifth to plate TWELVE runs on walks, singles, and a grand slam by Chase Luxton. Scott Forsythe jacks a two run homer for Sinister in the bottom of the sixth. HH adds three runs in the top of the seventh. Sinister rallies for six runs in the bottom of the seventh with Scott Forsythe getting the game winning hit. Sinister out slugs Hagan’s Heroes, 23-22.
A Finals
Game 1: Sinister vs. Monsters & Menthols
Andrew C rips an RBI double for Sinister in the top of the first. MAM answers with three runs in the bottom of the first on a two run homer by Alex Freeman. Sinister bats around in the top of the second to score seven runs on singles, and doubles by Brandon Birkhead and Andrew C. MAM adds three runs in the bottom of the second. Vinny C smashes a three run homer for Sinister in the top of the fourth. Vinny C smokes an RBI double for Sinister in the top of the fifth. MAM plates seven runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to back to back RBI triples by Mark Bernacki and Mark Cooper. Brandon Birkhead jacks a three run homer for Sinister in the top of the seventh. Sinister takes the first game, 23-15.
Game 2: Monsters & Menthols vs. Sinister
MAM bats around in the top of the first to get eight runs thanks to doubles by Tess Frelick and Mark Bernacki, and a Mark Cooper three run homer. Sinister answers with nine runs on singles, and homers by KC Ingram and Rodney. Eric Schade rips an RBI double for MAM in the top of the third. Sinister puts up seven runs in the bottom of the third thanks to back to back homers by Brandon Birkhead and Vinny C. Sinister gets another seven runs in the bottom of the fourth with a two run triple by Andrew C, and a Brandon Birkhead three run homer. MAM puts up four runs in the top of the fifth on singles. Brandon Birkhead and Vinny C jack back to back homers again for Sinister in the bottom of the sixth. Sinister wins the second game, 26-18, and the A chip.
