Game 1: Unhinged vs. Aces of Bases

Unhinged bats around in the top of the first to score eight runs on homers by Anthony Izzi, Syd Jakel, and Jared Taylor. AOB answers with four runs on singles. Anthony Izzi and Casey Condron blast two run homers for Unhinged in the top of the second. Unhinged bats around in the top of the third to put up seven runs with doubles by Rich Zupkusky and Jared Taylor, and a Daniel Vescovi three run homer. Unhinged bats around again in the top of the fourth to get eight runs on doubles by Daniel Vescovi, Stef Dilova, and Jared Taylor, and triples by Rich Zupkusky, Anthony Izzi, and Jimmy Costar. Austin Grosso blasts a solo homer for AOB in the bottom of the fourth. Unhinged destroys Aces of Bases, 27-6.

Game 2: Man Bear Pigs vs. Trash Pandas

Scott Gerhart and Justin Glennon jack two run homers for MBP in the top of the first. TP answers with two runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a leadoff double by Steve Skedz. MBP gets five runs in the top of the third on a Josh Sovocool triple, and a two run homer by Steven Sovocool. Bill H rips a two run double for MBP in the top of the fifth. MBP plates five runs in the top of the sixth with a bases loaded triple by Josh Sovocool. TP bats around in the bottom of the sixth to add six runs on singles, and a two run triple by Arik Fenton. Jamie Glennon rips a bases loaded triple for MBP in the top of the seventh. TP rallies for eight runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles, and triples by Steve Skedz and Chris Hoisinton. Man Bear Pigs out slugs the Trash Pandas, 21-18.

Game 3: Sinister vs. Hagan’s Heroes

A Chase Luxton triple helps HH score four runs in the bottom of the first. Rodney rips an RBI double for Sinister in the top of the second. Ryan Goodman blasts a two run homer for HH in the bottom of the third. Sinister plates three runs in the top of the fourth with a leadoff double by Brandon Birkhead. Mary Kate Smith smashes a two run homer for HH in the bottom of the fourth. An RBI triple by Scott Forsyth helps Sinister pick up two runs in the top of the fifth. Singles net Sinister five runs in the top of the sixth. Five runs cross the plate for HH in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a three run homer for Chase Luxton. Sinister rallies for a run in the top of the seventh thanks to a triple by Andrew Clarke. Hagan’s Heroes gets by Sinister, 16-13.

Game 4: Lady Birds vs. Monsters & Menthols

LB takes the early lead in the top of the first with six runs in the top of the first thanks to doubles by James McLaughlin and Joey Pittman, and a Mark Rothenberger two run triple. MAM answers with six runs in the bottom of the first on doubles by Sean Nonemacher and Alex Freeman, and a Mark Cooper three run homer. LB adds two runs in the top of the third on singles. MAM plates six more runs in the bottom of the third thanks to doubles by Alex Freeman and Mark Cooper. Jason McLaughlin jacks a solo homer for LB in the top of the fourth. A triple by Justin Miller leads to a run for LB in the top of the fifth. MAM pushes six runs across in the bottom of the sixth with back to back homers by Tess Frelick and Mark Bernacki. A triple by Jason McLaughlin helps LB rally for a run in the top of the seventh. Monsters and Menthols top the Lady Birds, 19-10.
