Week 4 - 9/13/24

Game 1: Aces of Bases vs. Philly Philly

PP bats around in the bottom of the first to score six runs on singles, a three run double by Ben Razzi, and a Tim two run homer. Doubles by Adam Weaver and Dan McFadden net AOB two runs in the top of the second. A leadoff triple by Justin helps PP get two runs in the bottom of the second. AOB plates six runs in the top of the fourth thanks to a two run triple by Mackenzie Jones, and a Dan McFadden three run homer. Singles and RBI doubles by Michael Ercolino and Larry Kirschner lead to four runs for AOB in the top of the sixth. Aces of Bases downs Philly Philly, 13-8.

Game 2: Monsters & Menthols vs. Lady Birds

MAM gets on the board with a run in the top of the second. LB answers with a run in the bottom of the third. A leadoff triple by Sean Nonemacher helps MAM plate three runs in the top of the fourth. Singles lead to three runs for LB in the bottom of the fifth. MAM takes the lead with four runs in the top of the seventh thanks to a Mark Bernacki RBI double, and a solo homer by Bill Brancato. LB rallies for four runs in the bottom of the seventh on singles. Monsters & Menthols squeaks by the Lady Birds, 9-8.

Game 3: Unhinged vs. Man Bear Pigs

Back to back doubles by Anthony Izzi and Rich Zupkusky lead to a run for Unhinged in the top of the first. Unhinged bats around in the top of the second to plate eight runs on doubles by Dan Vescovi, Sydney Jakel, and Jimmy Castar, and back to back homers by Anthony Izzi and Rich Zupkusky. A double by Justin Glennon helps MBP get on the board with a run in the bottom of the third. Unhinged bats around in the top of the fourth to put up FOURTEEN runs thanks to singles, doubles by Anthony Izzi, Rich Zupkusky, and Sam Jakel, and a Rich Zupkusy RBI triple. MBP adds two runs in the bottom of the fourth on singles. Unhinged destroys the Man Bear Pigs, 25-3.

Game 4: Trash Pandas vs. Sinister

TP takes the early lead with a run in the top of the first. Sinister answers with five runs in the bottom of the first thanks to homers by Brandon Birkhead and Andrew Clarke. Sinister gets another five runs in the bottom of the second with a Brandon Birkhead RBI triple, and a two run homer by KC Ingram. Brandon Birkhead, KC Ingram, and Andrew Clarke blast back to back to back homers for Sinister in the bottom of the third. Sinister bats around in the bottom of the fourth to plate eight runs with doubles by KC Ingram, Andrew Clarke, and Ryan Catania, and a Katie Cherba two run homer. Sinister beats up on the Trash Pandas, 21-1.
