Game 1 - Big Mac Attack @ Jive Turkeys (7/15/2024)
It was a quiet night at the plate, you couldn't hear a mouse, until Jive Turkeys smacked Big Mac bringing 17 to the house... (Dr. Birk) In all seriousness, this was a rough game for Big Mac. The team just couldn't get anything going for them after being absolutely stunned by the Jive Turkeys, (who's on a hot streak) plating 5 runs early in the first inning. These catalyst runs came off of a hungry 2 run NUKE from Brian Stella, 3 singles and 2 doubles. The onslaught didn't stop there though, as Jive Turkeys continues to add on scoring 17 runs through 4 innings. Big Mac ended up scoring their only 2 runs in the 5th, but that wasn't enough to scrape back, serving them a big fat 15-Run Mercy call of the game. Great work Jive Turkeys. Stay hot!

Game 2 - Dirty Balls @ The Generals (7/15/2024)
Game 2 of the night posed for a bit more of an exciting game, but was still low-scoring. The Generals stuck early in the home half of the inning after a goose egg by Dirty Balls, planting their 2-run seed, produced by a 2 - run bombski by Chris Forester. Dirty Balls answered with 1 run in the 2nd and that would be all they score until driving in 1 in the 6th and 3 in the 7th off of an absolute moonshot by Nick Pigott. This wasn't enough to fend off The Generals as they continued to dribble in runs all game, accumulating 11 runs through 6. Their sub for the night, Chris Knechel, blasted 2 homers himself. Of course he's an all-star, so they had to take an out for him prior to his at bats, otherwise, this could have ended way uglier! Great game Generals. Re-coop Dirty Balls.
