Game 1 - The Generals @ Short Bussers (07/01/2024)
The Generals marched their way to another victory, defeating Shot Bussers by a score of 15-7. This game began with some timely extra base hits for the Generals in the top of the first inning. Short bussers played a decent game in the field, holding them to 3 or less runs every inning, except the 2nd, where they were blanked, until it got to the 6th. The Generals unloaded with 6 crucial insurance runs in the top of the 6th inning off of 5 singles, 2 doubles, 2 Sac-Flies and a walk. We didn't get to see the long-ball fly in this game, but we did get to wintess some excellence from The Generals in the small ball category. Great win Generals!

Game 2 - The Generals @ Dirty Balls (07/01/2024)
The Generals, coming of an aggressive win at the plate, score 2 important runs in the first inning, taking the lead early. From the beginning, this game looked as if it was in the books, in favor of The Generals, but as the game proceeded, in close score, the momentum and vibe of the game completely switched in the bottom of the 5th inning, when Dirty Balls plates 3 runs off 3 singles and a double. Sparking a flame, Dirty Balls was about to heat up and they knew it. The 6th inning left as quickly as it came, with Dirty Balls plating 0. It's the top of the 7th inning and The Generals plate 2 taking the lead. Dirty Balls has to conjure some energy, positivity and balls to pull this one out. They do just that, with 2 outs! First two guys get up and both get handed seats after a fly out to center field and a grounder to 2nd. But with 2 outs, 3 through 6 get the job done with back to back doubles, a single to plate that double and a walk-off single to win it! Way to play tonight, Dirty. Solid win!

Game 3 - Big Mac Attack @ Jive Turkeys (0702/2024)
Big Mac Attack strikes with some saucy swings early, plating 3 runs in the first off of 3 singles and double. It's easy to slap someone straight early and throw them off their game, but not this time. Jive Turkeys strikes back in the bottom of the first matching them with 3 runs of their own off of 3 singles and a double. Big Mac goes ghost from the 2nd on plating 0 runs through he 6th. But Jive Turkeys doesn't let up their attack, 12 runs though 6 innings off of 8 singles, 4 doubles, 4 triples, and 0 walks as they devour some late-night Big Mac's by a score of 15-5. Great win Jive Turkeys! Keep bringing the energy.
