Ah, the start of a fresh new season! Everyone is tied for 1st place at 6:30 this evening!

Game 1: Beers vs Dingers
6:31PM. Dingers forfeit, and Beers gets an easy win, 7-0.

Game 2: Calcium Cannons vs To Be Determined
Cannons get none in the 1st while TBD plates 7. Mike KilKenny homers. Cannons get on the board with 3 in the 2nd. Ian Cuozzo doubles. TBD scores 4 in the 2nd. Steve Gebre and Tyler Quinlan both double, and Jimmy Weigers homers. Cannons plate 2 in the 3rd with a Drew Finney double. TBD widens their lead to 9 in the bottom of the 3rd. Collin Sheehan homers. Cannons score 2 in the 4th and 4 in the 5th. Jason White homers. TBD bats around in the bottom of the 5th and scores 7. Gebre homers, Sheehan triples, and KilKenny doubles. Cannons get 3 in the 6th with White and Ian Cuozzo both doubling. TBD makes it a 12 run game in the bottom of the 6th, with KilKenny tripling. Cannons go quiet in the top of the 7th, and TBD wins, 26-14.

Game 3: Philly Junk vs Kings Corner
Kings Corner scores 2 in the 1st with a Mat Crowell double. Philly Junk gets 1 in the 2nd with Vinny Catagnus double. Kings Corner plates 1 in the 3rd with Sean Nonnemacher doubling. Philly Junk bats around in the bottom of the 3rd to score 9. Shane Hanna, Jason Ashworth and Brandon Birkhead all double (Hanna twice in the inning), Pat Kelley triples, and Mike Bitterlich homers. Kings Corner take the lead back in the top of the 4th by scoring 8. Birky ties it in the bottom of the 4th on a solo shot, and Catagnus triples and scores to re-take the lead by 1 run. Kings Corner retake a commanding lead in the top of the 5th by scoring 7. Justin Miller, Ryan Schaub, and CJ Snyder all double, and Chris Lansberry triples. They'll add 2 more in the top of the 6th after Nonny and Chris Beatty both double and score. Philly Junk plates 1 in the bottom of the 6th with Ashworth and Bitterlich both doubling. Kings Corner adds 1 in the top of the 7th, and Philly Junk goes down in order in the bottom. Kings Corner wins, 21-13.

Game 4: Shake-N-Bake vs. The Commission dba Silly Boys
Shake-N-Bake get just 2 runs in 4 innings. Mike Ianieri doubles, Joe Talarico singles twice in his 2 at-bats and Marty Balent, Scott Minto, and Steve Skedzielewski all single in their only a-bat of the game. Rich Bass and Jason Genua get the two RBIs. Meanwhile, Commish plate 25. Rob Lyons goes 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 3 RBIs. Dillon Tagle is 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. Tom Koezler is 3 for 3 with a sac fly, 4 RBIs and a homer. Jon Motts is a perfect 4 for 4 with 3 doubles. Brendan Parker bangs out a grand slam along with a triple for 6 RBIs on the night. Cody Runzer doubles and singles. Ben Razzi triples and singles twice. Phill Black singles 3 times, and non-roster sub Jay Pane triples and singles twice. Commish end this early, 25-2.
