Game 1
Web Gems VS Balls Deep
Web Gems starts off hot, with a leadoff walk followed by a walk and RBI Double from Arik Fenton. Nick Mackell follows with a 2 rbi single and then Nick and Mike Tobey score on an Alex Larosa fly out and George Webb single. Balls Deep doesn’t get anything in the first and we go to the second, where Web Gems is held scoreless and Balls Deep get two back with an RBI double from Ken Huber and RBI single from Tommy Gallo. In the third, Web Gems extends the lead with an RBI double from Eric Adiletto and 3 Run Home Run from Eric Wrenn. They hold Balls Deep scoreless and hold a 9-2 lead going into the fourth. Web Gems is scoreless and Balls Deep get three back with a sac fly from Tommy Gallo, RBI single from Josh Carl, and RBI single from John Aiken. Web Gems doesn’t allow them to get too close though and add two more in the fifth with an RBI single from Mike Tovey and then Eric Adiletto knocks him in with an RBI single. Web Gems adds 4 more in the 6th with RBI singles from Nick Mackell and Mike Tovey and then a 2 RBI triple from Eric Adiletto. Balls Deep goes into the bottom of the seventh down 15-5 and get an RBI single from Tim Gluck and 3 run Home Run from Bob Stanley, but fall short of a comeback.

Game two
Balls Deep VS Stiff Sox
We see a quiet first inning before Balls Deep adds two in the second, with RBI singles from Ken Huber and Josh Carl. Balls Deep adds three more in the 3rd with RBI singles from Tim Glock, Will Schulz, and a Tim Fossile fielders choice. Balls Deep keeps adding in the fourth, with a Tim Frei 2 RBI triple and 2 run Home Run from Tim Glock to extend to 9-0. Stiff Sox finally decides to start playing in the bottom of the fourth. They start the inning off with a walk and then run 7 straight singles off, with RBI’s from Nick Purshock, Bert Bertaino, John Derr, Jim Templeton, and 2 rbi single from Tom Gallagher. It is capped off by a 3 run Home Run from Tyler Farnwalt and Stiff Sox take the lead, putting up 11 in the inning. Balls Deep ties it back up in the top of the 5th with an RBI single from Tommy Gallo and sac fly from John Aiken. Stiff Sox answers back immediately with an RBI double from Bert Bertaino, 2 rbi single from John Derr, RBI single from Tyler Farnwalt and sac fly from Tyler Farnwalt. They add three more in the 6th with a 3 run Home Run from Tom Gallagher to cap off the scoring and Balls Deep can’t mount a comeback again.

Game 3
Philly’s Phinest VS Wild Fire
Philly’s Phinest starts the scoring quick with a 2 rbi triple from Billy Schubert to kick the game off. Wild Fire answers back in the second with a 2 run Home Run from Chris Smith and solo shot from Pat McKeever to go back-to-back and take the lead. Wild Fire adds one in the fourth off a Tom Orlando sac fly and one in the fifth from an rbi single from Chris Smith. Philly’s Phinest ties it up in the top of the fifth, with an RBI single from Billy Schubert followed by a 2 RBI single from Chris Rocks. We go into the seventh all tied up and Philly’s Phinest leads it off with two singles and Billy Schubert gets an RBI double to take the lead. Chase Rommel adds an RBI single to give Philly’s Phinest an insurance run and we go to the bottom of the seventh with Wild Fire down two. Wild Fire starts off with a single from Kyle Stephens and Mark Maria knocks him in with a single to get them within one. Wild Fire cant get another one across and fall just short of a comeback.

Game 4
Birds of War VS Dugout Demons
Dugout Demons draws first blood in the bottom of the first with a Nate Gregory RBI single to take the lead. We see a defensive gem through three innings and go into the top of the fourth with a 1-0 game. Jay Cowan ties the game with a solo home run for Birds of War and then in the fifth they come alive, scoring 12 runs on 4 walks, 8 singles, a double, and a three run home run. Seven of Ten Birds of War get RBIs in the inning, highlighted by Tom Bush’s 2 RBI Double, Chris Day’s 2 RBI single, and Ryan Mcavey’s 2 run Home Run. Dugout Demon get three back in the sixth with a 3 run Home Run from John Wagner, and they get 3 more in the bottom of the seventh, with a 2 RBI Home Run from Christian Wagner and solo Home Run from TJ Pergine, but its not enough and Birds of War cruises to a win.
Birds of War wins 17-7
