Game #1 – Quality Landscape vs. Carroll’s
Quality Landscape will get rolling with two runs in the first inning on some singles and then errors. Carroll’s will fight back with three runs in the bottom of the inning on a two run double from Greg Lesher and Ali Theis fielder’s choice. We skip the second since there are no runs and head to the third. Mark Kenneng will bring in a run on a triple and then Phil McCusker brings in a run on a sac fly. Carroll’s will again get three run, this time on a Brian Sauers and Lauren Klepcheck RBI single. Quality still trails by three and will grab a run in the fifth and sixth which sends us to the seventh, with Quality needing one run in order to keep this game going. McCusker will get on base with a single, but then go down and fall in this one. Carroll’s win 7-6.
Player of the Game:
Brian Sauers (Carroll’s) – 2/3, BB, RBI
Game #2 – Quality Landscape vs. Dingers Doubles
McCusker will get quality rolling in the second inning on an RBI single as Quality will take and hold a 1-0 lead for an inning. Alex Hoxsey will bring in another run for Quality on an RBI single, but here come Dingers in the bottom of the second. Ray Jones and Al Ciccitto tie the game with RBI singles. McCusker is doing his best to help Quality win this game as he smashes a solo bomb in the third. Dingers will come alive in the third though as they bat around and push across seven runs. Scott Gerhert, Karen Kalinowsky and Ray Jones all have RBI singles in the inning. Quality has their big inning in the fifth as they will bat around and plate six. Lauren Fuhrmmeister and Hosey will bring in two runs each on singles. We will head to the seventh as Quality leads 12-11. Randy Munn adds an insurance run for Quality with a solo homer to take us to the bottom of the seventh. Michael Ercolino smashes a solo homer to make it a one run game, but that is where this would end as Dingers will fall. Quality wins 13-12.

Game #3 – Wehrung’s vs. GFP

GFP will get three of those runs back on a two run homer from Chase Luxton and RBI double from Phil Lipton. Dan Vescovi will add another two runs from a homer in the second as they take the lead. This game would be all GFP from there on. Dan Vescovi would hit two more homers, while Lipton also gets the power stroke smashing a two run homer and three run homer. Wehrung’s could only manage two more runs across the rest of the game and would end up falling in this one. GFP wins 16-6.
