Game #1 – The Maize vs. Dirty Balls
The Maize will fire the first shot and score a run on an Aaron Worthington RBI double. Dirty Balls will even the score in the bottom of the inning on a Tim Frei RBI single. Balls will get two more runs in the bottom of the second inning on RBI singles from Dennis D’Angelo and Nick Pigott. Maize will take the lead in the third on another big hit from Aaron Worthington, this time a three-run bomb. This is where things get interesting as both teams dip their bats in lava and get red hot. Worthington will add two runs on a single and Gary Kleinschmidt will add three runs on a big homer, while Balls will get RBI doubles from D’Angelo, Alexis Roscioli and Harrison Leal as well as homers from Tim Frei, Tim Gluck and Mark Rothenberger. In the end, we would only go six innings and we would end this game in a stalemate of 17-17. We won’t have enough time to finish this one and we will have to stay tied up in this one.

Game #2 – Muckdogs vs. Supreme
Our second game of the night will get rolling in a big way as Muckdogs come out to score 10 runs right out of the gate. Ryan Hamilton smashes a three-run bomb, which is followed up by RBI singles from Bill Hamill, Tom Egitto, Hamilton and Mike Zahradnick. Evan Grzymkowski also brings in two runs on a double. Supreme will struggle in this one and won’t be able to score anything until the fourth. Muckdogs would have to wait until the third to get some more runs, on a Egitto RBI triple and make this a 14-0 game. Supreme will get four runs across the fourth and fifth on a Steff Santos RBI single and Ant Hott three run homer, but it would be all the offense they would get in this one. Tony Cabot will add a late two run bomb for Muckdogs as they will take this one easy. Muckdogs win 19-4.
