Game 1: Cheaters vs Yard Ducks
Yard Ducks forfeited, Cheaters get an easy 7-0 win in the books.
Game 2: Red Stallion vs Gabagools
Gabagools get 3 runs with a double from Jon Dobyan in the 1st. Eric Katz homers in the 2nd and then they go on to bat around in the 3rd and score 9. Erik Bowren doubles and smacks a grand slam, James Muhlberger homers. In the 4th, Tom Salami doubles and the plate 3 more runs. 3 more cross in the 5thand Bowren homers again in the 7th to cap a 21 run game for Gabagools. Red Stallion starts out slow and doesn't score in the 1st despite a Jake Dombrowski double. They get 1 in the 2nd and 1 in the 3rd off a Klye Budynkiewicz solo shot over the fence. Another run scores in the 4th after Ryan Nakoniewczny doubles and scores. A homer by Dombrowski and a double from Chris Keeler nets Red Stallion another 2 runs. In the 6th, Dombrowski homers again along with Keeler and the plate 3. Needing 13 runs to tie and 14 to win, Red Stallion gets to work. 18 men come to the plate. Jake Dombrowski caps his monster night with a 3rd homer and his 7th RBI, and Sean Nederitter doubles. Everyone else either singles or walks at least once in the inning, and with the bases loaded and 2 outs, of course it's Jake Dombrowski that walks it off in dramatic fashion with an RBI single. Red Stallion makes a miraculous comeback from a 13 run deficit in the last inning to win, 22-21.
Game 3: Ohtani's Bookies vs Did We Win?
Bookies get homers from Justin Rosenbaum and Nicholas Weston, and doubles from Stevie Waiter and Matt Murphy in the 1st to score 7. 5 more cross in the 2nd with Mark Spadea doubling along with Zach Grilot. In the 3rd, they'll get 4 more runs. 4 more score in the 4th with Arick Fell and Rosenbaum both tripling. Meanwhile, Did We Win send 10 men to the plate in the 1st and score 6 of them. John Bisceglie and Bill Coles both double. 1 lone run scores in the 2nd and then 11 in the 3rd for Did We Win. Harry Parfitt smacks a grand slam and Keith Halilli homers. Bill Coles and John Bisceglie both double. The scoring ends there' however, and Ohtani's Bookies hold on for a 20-19 win.
