Game #1 – The Runs vs. Dirty Balls
Runs get rolling with a two-run bomb off the bat of Erik Cusano to take an early lead. Dirty Balls get four runs back in the bottom of the inning with four runs on a Harrison Leal fielder’s choice, two run single from Jenn Sevitski and RBI single from Jason Dickerson. Runs will tie this game up in the third on another two-run bomb from Cusano, his second homer of the game. Balls will again break the tie and take a lead on a two-run homer from Tim Frei. Balls will keep it rolling in the next inning grabbing three more runs on RBI singles from Brie DeYoung, Andrea Ramunno and Josh Carl. Mark Rothenberger goes yard in the fifth giving Balls another run. Robert Ridenour will get three runs back for Runs on a three-run homer in the sixth, but Balls will run away with this one in the bottom of the inning scoring 10 more. Bob Stanley highlights the inning for Balls with a three-run homer. Dirty Balls win 21-8.

Game #2 – The Maize vs. Wehrung’s
Gary Kleinschmidt will start this game off for Maize grabbing a run on an RBI double to kick it off, followed by an Aaron Worthington RBI double and RBI single from Wil Marsden. Wehrung’s have a quiet first inning but grab a run in the bottom of the second on a fielder’s choice from Asa Cooper. Worthington will answer back for Maize with a solo bomb. Wehrung’s respond back in the fourth, with an RBI single from Cooper as well as a Cindy Snyder RBI single. Back and forth we go as Maize grab the lead again, with a Kleinscmidt two run bomb. We head to the seventh, with Maize holding onto a one run lead. Worthington steps up with the bases loaded and delivers a massive grand slam deep into the woods to give them some needed insurance runs and making this a 10-5 game as we head to the bottom of the inning. Luke Hendricks brings in a run on a sac fly, followed by a Cindy Snyder fielder’s choice to drive in one more. Lowell Snyder will also knock in a run, but they will fall just short and lose this one by two. Maize wins 10-8.

Game #3 – Knuckleheads vs. Phanatics
Knuckleheads will come out with a bang, grabbing five runs right out of the gate. Jon Poore, Keith Keppley, John Schofield and Pierre Girin all go hit RBI singles, four in a row, and Dylan Gallagher will add an RBI single later in the inning as well. Knuckleheads will get five more runs in the third, highlighted by a two-run bomb from Jim Bell and RBI doubles from Keppley and Brittany Ullman. This game is all Knuckleheads as Phanatics can’t even get on the board from Knuckleheads smothering defense. Jose Rodriguez will add a solo bomb in the fourth and Knuckleheads will take care of this game easy and early. Knuckleheads win 16-0.
