Game 1: Philly Junk vs. Monsters & Menthols

Brandon Birkhead jacks a three run homer for PJ in the top of the first. Tom Koelzer smashes a two run homer as four runs cross the plate for MAM in the bottom of the first. Anthony Crawford rips a two run double for PJ in the top of the second. Brian Dart launches a three run homer for MAM in the bottom of the fifth. PJ adds two runs in the top of the sixth. MAM picks up three runs in the bottom of the sixth with a triple by Nate Evans. Monsters & Menthols tops Philly Junk, 12-8.

Game 2: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Outkast

HH gets on the board with four runs in the top of the second. A leadoff double by Craig Richards nets Outkast a run in the bottom of the third. Jim Lalley smokes a two run double for HH in the top of the fourth. Another leadoff double by Blake Margot gets Outkast a run in the bottom of the fourth. Outkast puts up four runs in the bottom of the fifth with doubles by Casey Condron and Beau Ziegler. HH adds seven runs in the top of the seventh on singles, and an RBI double by Mark Cooper. Hagan’s Heroes takes care of Outkast, 18-7.

Game 3: Only Fans vs. Man Bear Pigs

OF starts off hot with seven runs in the top of the first thanks to doubles by Sean Murphy, John Erb, and Steve Day, a Jon Poore two run triple, and a two run homer by Corey Wambold. MBP answers with three runs on singles in the bottom of the first. Andrew Alexander and Jon Poore blast homers for OF in the top of the second. OF bats around in the top of the third to score nine runs with a John Erb triple, and homers by Sean Murphy and Jon Poore. MBP rallies for a run in the bottom of the fifth. Only Fans makes quick work of the Man Bear Pigs, 22-4.

Game 4: Lady Birds vs. Slashers

Joey Pittmann rips a two run triple for LB in the top of the first. The Slashers answer with a run in the bottom of the first. LB bats around in the top of the third to plate ELEVEN runs thanks to singles, doubles by Jason McLaughlin and John McGranaghan, and homers by James McLaughlin and Anthony. Four runs come in for the Slashers in the bottom of the third thanks to an RBI triple by Josh Sovocool. James McLaughlin jacks a two run homer for LB in the top of the fourth. The Slashers plate six runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to singles, and a three run double by Jesse Shweger. LB adds on three runs in the top of the seventh. The Slashers rally for four runs in the bottom of the seventh. The Lady Birds out slug the Slashers, 25-16.
