Birds of War VS Morning Wood

Birds of War starts this off with a 3 run Home Run from Matt Jacobson. Morning Wood answers with a Nick Carl rbi double though. Austin Devlin gets an rvi single for Birds of War to extend the lead, but Morning Wood gets that one back when Nick Pigott scores on a fielders choice. Birds of War jump out to a larger lead, with a 2 Run Home Run from Matt Jacobson and rbi single from Chris Day to score 3. Morning Wood answers right back though, tying it up at 7 after a 3 run Home Run from Tim Frie and rbi single from Nick Pigott. Birds of War keep scoring, getting 6 in the 4th off a 2 run Matt Jacobson Home Run, rbi double from Justin Kneebone, and 2 rbi single from John Laino. Morning Wood gets two back off a 2 run Todd Gibson Home Run, then adding one more in the fifth with a Nick Carl rbi single. Birds of War gets three more with an rbi single from Jeff Rivera and RBI double from Austin Devlin. Morning Wood gets it close, getting a 2 run Home Run from Bob Stanley. Birds of War get an insurance run off a solo home run from Matt Jacobson. The bottom of the secenth sees Morning Wood make an effort, in big part to a 3 run Tim Frei home run, but they fall short of the comeback.

Birds of War VS Philly’s Phinest

Birds of War start early with a solo Home Run from Austin Devlin and an rbi single from Justin Kneebone, who scores on a fielders choice. They add a 4th run in the second with an Austin Devlin RBI double and 5 more in the third, ith a Scott Chmura solo Home Run, two rbi single from John Laino, and rbi single from Austin Devlin. Philly’s Phinest finally gets on the board in the 4th, with 3 runs and a big RBI single from Mike Rocks Sr. They’ll add 5 in the 5th with a solo Home Run from Steve Johnson, two runs off an error, and 2 runs off a Tim Frei single. Birds of War will get 4 more in the 6th, with a Jay Cowan solo Home Run, and then back to back rbi doubles from Scott Chmura and Chris Day, but Philly’s Phinest puts up a fight and get two big Home Runs from Tony Summers and Steve Johnson, then an rbi triple from Tim Frei, to tie the game up. Top of the Seventh sees Birds of War grab three runs off an error and rbi double from Austin Devlin. The bottom of the 7th sees Philly’s Phinest fall short, and Birds of War take this one.

Sprouse Electric VS Dead Ringers

Sprouse Electric jumps out to an early lead thanks to a Drake Sprouse 3 run Home Run. Dead Ringers will get 3 back with a two walks with the bases loaded. The third sees Sprouse Electric open it up, getting rbi doubles from Jared Katz and Damien Scott and a huge grand slam from Bryan King. Dead Ringers try to keep up, with an rbi single from Harrison Leal and 2 rbi single from Tim Frei, who at this point may have subbed for every B East team. Dead Ringers will get two more on a Eric Katz Home Run but Sprouse pulls away with a 3 run Home Run from Damien Scott. Sprouse adds one in the 6th and one in the 7th off a Damien Scott rbi double, and Dead Ringers makes a run at a comeback in the bottom of the 7th with a 2 run Justin Lango Home Run, solo Jared Saias Home Run, and Tim Frei rbi double, but its too little too late.
