Game 1: Silverbacks vs. Bird Gang

The Silverbacks put up four runs in the top of the first with a leadoff double by Carlos Gonzalez. Joey Pittmann blasts a three run homer for BG in the bottom of the first. Ian Cuozzo rips an RBI double for the Silverbacks in the top of the second. The Silverbacks add three runs in the top of the third. BG scores three runs in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI triple by Mark Rothenberger. BG bats around in the bottom of the fifth to plate six runs thanks to homers by Joey Pittmann, Justin Miller, and Mark Rothenberger. A solo homer by Ian Cuozzo helps the Silverbacks get three runs in the top of the sixth. BG picks up five runs in the bottom of the sixth on two run homers by Jason McLaughlin and Pat M. Bird Gang out slugs the Silverbacks, 21-17.

Game 2: Wire 2 Wire vs. Vertex

W2W plates three runs in the top of the first. Brian D and Will P smash back to back homers for Vertex in the bottom of the second. Gene Walczak rips a two run double for W2W in the top of the third. Vertex pushes three runs across in the bottom of the fourth on singles. W2W bats around in the top of the fifth to put up TEN runs thanks to singles, a three run double by Ben V, and back to back homers by Jake M and Jake H. Vertex gets five runs in the bottom of the fifth with a Will P three run homer. Vertex adds six runs in the bottom of the sixth on walks, a double by Sean Nonemacher, and a Ryan S two run homer. Vertex tops Wire 2 Wire, 21-17.

Game 3: Bird Gang vs. Philly Junk

BG bats around in the top of the first to plate eight runs with homers by James McLaughlin, Joey Pittmann, and Justin Miller. PJ answers with TWELVE runs in the bottom of the first thanks to homers by Shane Hanna, Brandon Birkhead, Evan Porter, and Tom Rider. Pay M and Justin Miller get back to back homers for BG in the top of the second. Tom Rider gets another three run homer for PJ in the bottom of the second. The top of the third has Jason McLaughlin, James McLaughlin, Joey Pittmann, and Pat M all hit back to back to back to back homes for BG. Pat Kelley and Brandon Birkhead smash back to back homers for PJ in the bottom of the third. PJ scores seven runs in the bottom of the fifth with more homers by Brandon Birkhead and Mike Bitterlich. BG rallies for three runs in the top of the seventh thanks to a two run homer by Pat M. 21 homers were hit in this offensive slug fest, but Philly Junk comes out on top over Bird Gang, 27-17.

B South

Lukens III

Game 1: Isotopes vs. Pigeon Boys

Paul M jacks a two run homer for the Isotopes in the top of the first. PB answers with six runs in the bottom of the first on walks, singles, and a Mike Gilbert double. PB bats around in the bottom of the third to pick up TEN runs thanks to walks, singles, a two run double by Mike Gilbert, and a Vince Vescio solo homer. Dave White rips an RBI triple for the Isotopes in the top of the fourth. PB gets two more runs in the bottom of the fourth. The Isotopes put up five runs in the top of the fifth on walks, singles, and a Dan Ruggiero RBI double. The Pigeon Boys double up on the Isotopes, 18-9.

Game 2: Chroma Crushers vs. Crum Bums

Singles lead to three runs for CC in the top of the first. CB bats around in the bottom of the first to pick up seven runs on singles. CC plates four runs in the top of the second on walks and singles. CB adds three runs in the bottom of the second. Five runs cross the plate in the bottom of the fifth with homers by Colin Quinn and Christian Milburn. CC rallies for five runs in the top of the seventh on singles, and a Brian Lynch RBI double. The Crum Bums top the Chroma Crushers, 15-12.

Game 3: Pigeon Boys vs. Candlewyck

Back to back doubles by Kyle P and Matt Grevers net PB a run in the bottom of the first. PB get on the board with a run in the top of the second. Candlewyck bats around in the bottom of the second to score seven runs on walks, singles, and a two run double by Matt Grevers. Candelwyck plates six runs in the bottom of the third thanks to walks and a three run homer by Matt Grevers. Candlewyck puts up seven runs in the bottom of the fourth thanks to singles,a double by Jeff Johnson, and a John Graves RBI triple. Candlewyck destroys the Pigeon Boys, 21-1.

Game 4: Crum Bums vs. Bats All Folks

Singles give BAF four runs in the bottom of the first. Joey Sullivan jacks a solo homer for CB in the top of the second. A leadoff double by John Milburn nets CB a run in the top of the fifth. BAF adds an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth. CB rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. Bats All Folks doubles up on the Crum Bums, 6-3.
