Game 1: Man Bear Pigs vs. Trash Pandas
A double by Josh Sovocos helps MBP get three runs in the top of the first. TP answers with two runs in the bottom of the first on doubles by Steve Skedz and Arik Fenton. TP bats around in the bottom of the second to pick up seven runs thank to doubles by Brandon Crockett, Blake Margot, Jim Meindl, and Eric Adiletto. Two runs cross the plate for MBP in the top of the fourth thanks to a Justin Glennon double. MBP rallies for four runs in the top of the seventh on doubles by Josh Sovocos and Roberto Guzman. The Trash pandas squeak by the Man Bear Pigs, 10-9.
Game 2: Monsters & Menthols vs. Philly Junk
MAM picks up two runs in the top of the first. Brandon Birkhead jacks a three run homer for PJ in the bottom of the first. Back to back doubles by Jarred Taylor and CJ Brancato lead to three runs for MAM in the top of the third. Brandon Birkhead and KC Ingram smash back to back homers for PJ in the bottom of the third. A leadoff triple by Zach Lyall nets MAM three runs in the top of the fourth. PJ picks up three runs in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI double by KC Ingram. MAM adds five runs in the top of the seventh on errors and singles. PJ rallies for four runs in the bottom of the seventh on a grand slam by Andrew Clarke. Monsters & Menthols gets by Philly Junk, 15-14.
Game 3: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Lady Birds
HH scores two runs on singles in the top of the first. LB answers with five runs in the bottom of the first on a Gavin S two run homer. Back to back doubles by Chase Luxton and Gary Thompson net HH two runs in the top of the third. LB adds six runs in the bottom of the third thanks to singles, a triple by Joey Pittmann, and a Mark Rothenberger two run homer. LB pushes three runs in the bottom of the sixth on doubles by Jason McLaughlin and James McLaughlin, and a Jess Ellick solo homer. HH rallies for two runs in the top of the seventh on singles. The Lady Birds beat up on Hagan’s Heroes, 20-9.
Game 4: Slashers vs. Unhinged
The Slashers take an early lead with four runs in the top of the first on singles, and doubles by Corey Van Fossen and Scott Gerhart. Unhinged bats around in the bottom of the first to put up eight runs thanks to a John Erb double, and a triple by Casey Condron. Singles and a Rebecca Brennan RBI triple help Unhinged plate five runs in the bottom of the second. Singles lead to three runs for the Slashers in the top of the fourth. Unhinged adds four runs in the bottom of the fifth. Singles lead to four runs for the Slashers in the top of the seventh. Unhinged beats up on the Slashers, 20-11.
