Game 1: Trash Pandas vs. Man Bear Pigs
Josh Sovocool jacks a two run homer for MBP in the bottom of the first. Errors and singles lead to three runs for MBP in the bottom of the third. TP gets on the board with a run in the top of the fourth. A leadoff double by Steve Sovocool nets MBP two runs in the bottom of the fifth. TP adds a run in the top of the sixth. TP rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. The Man Bear Pigs down Trash Pandas, 9-3.
Game 2: Philly Philly vs. Aces of Bases
PP bats around in the top of the first to score six runs on singles, and a Shawn Thornton double. AOB answers with seven runs in the bottom of the first thanks to singles, and doubles by Henry Ring and Mike Ercolino. AOB puts up seven more runs in the bottom of the second with homers by Tyler Murphy and Austin Grosso. Singles plate PP five runs in the top of the third. Back to back doubles by Adam Weaver and Tyler Murphy help AOB put up two runs in the bottom of the third. Aces of Bases out slugs PHilly Philly, 17-13.
Game 3: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Lady Birds
HH bats around in the top of the first to get six runs on singles, doubles by Chase Luxton, Gary Thompson, and Jim Lalley, and a Jay Pane RBI triple. LB answers with TEN runs in the bottom of the first on doubles by Jason McLaughlin, James McLaughlin, and Joey Pittman, and an Axel Alicia two run homer. Chucky Vile smokes an RBI triple for LB in the bottom of the third. HH puts up four runs in the top of the fourth with a double by Jim Lalley. LB pushes five runs across in the bottom of the sixth on singles, and a James McLaughlin solo homer. The Lady Birds top Hagan’s Heroes, 20-11.
Game 4: Monster & Menthols vs. Sinister
KC Ingram and Andrew Clarke smash back to back homers for Sinister in the bottom of the first. Sinister bats around in the bottom of the third to score FIFTEEN runs as Vinny C and KC Ingram both go deep for homerruns while Brandon Birkhead blasts TWO grand slams in the inning. MAM gets on the board in the top of the fourth with two runs thanks to a leadoff double by Mark Bernacki. Sinister makes quick work of Monsters & Methols, 22-2.
