Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. Wackers
Knuckleheads strike first with a Mike Koelzer two run single in the top of the first. Wackers will answer back in the bottom of the inning with a Tess Frelick RBI triple and Bill Brancato RBI double to tie the game up. Wacker will keep it rolling in the next inning adding six more runs. Dan Vescovi had a two run double, while Frelick, Brancato and Jay Pane all had RBI singles. The Wackers defense would really turn up in the next couple of innings as Knuckleheads are able to get some runners on, but not able to score them. RBI singles will continue to pace the Wackers scoring getting one from Chase Luxton as well as Brancato. Pane also adds a run in the fourth on a sac fly. Luxton will add another run in the sixth for Wackers on a sac fly, but they would score all they need as Knuckleheads really struggle to get moving in this one. The two runs in the first inning are the only runs that they can muster up in this one. Wackers win 12-2.
