A Playoffs

Game 1: Lady Birds vs. Hagan’s Heroes

KB takes the lead with three runs on singles in the top of the first. HH gets on the board with a run in the bottom of the second. A leadoff double by Joey P nets LB a run in the top of the third. HH pick up another run in the bottom of the fourth. A leadoff double by Ron Pulli helps HH score a run in the bottom of the fifth. HH plates three runs in the bottom of the sixth on singles. LB rallies for a run in the top of the seventh. A triple by Jay Pane in the bottom of the seventh allows HH to score the winning run as Gary Thompson gets the big hit. Hagan’s Heroes walks it off over the Lady Birds, 7-6.

B Playoffs

Game 2: Aces of Bases vs. Man Bear Pigs

AOB gets a run in the top of the first. Josh S jacks a solo homer for MBP in the bottom of the first. AOB scores five runs in the top of the second thanks to RBI doubles by Tom B and Ryan M. MBP pushes four runs across in the bottom of the second with a Steve S bases loaded triple. A leadoff triple by Justin G helps helps MBP get a run in the bottom of the third. Two runs cross the plate for AOB in the top of the fourth with a Tom B RBI double, and a triple by Henry R. AOB picks up four runs in the top of the fifth on singles, and a solo homer by Ryan M. AOB goes off in the top of the sixth getting TWENTY-FOUR runs on a lot of singles, and doubles by Ryan M, Tommy B, Austin G, and Mackenzie J. Aces of Bases absolutely destroys the Man Bear Pigs, 36-6.

A Finals

Game 3: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Monsters & Menthols

MAM takes the early lead in the bottom of the first thanks to a double by Sean Nonemacher, and an Alex Freeman RBI triple. HH gets on the board in the top of the third with a run. Jay Pane smokes an RBI double for HH in the top of the fourth. MAM adds a run in the bottom of the fourth. HH gets two runs in the top of the sixth with a double by Chase Luxton. A double by Sean Nonemacher helps MAM add a run in the bottom of the sixth. MAM rallies for a run in the bottom of the seventh. We head to extras where Sean Nonemacher jacks a two out solo homer for MAM in the bottom of the eighth. Monsters & Menthols walks it off, 7-6, to win the first game.

Game 4: Monsters & Menthols vs. Hagan’s Heroes

MAM takes an early lead with a run in the top of the first. HH gets on the board in the bottom of the second with three runs on singles. A leadoff double by Alex Freeman nets MAM a run in the top of the fourth. HH adds three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. HH plates three runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to a Brittany Ullman RBI double, and a triple by Keith Keppley. MAM bats around in the top of the sixth to get TEN runs on singles, doubles by Sean Nonemacher and Alex Freeman, and a Tess Frelick RBI triple. Monsters & Menthols wins the second game, 13-9, and the summer A title.
