Game 1: Monsters & Menthols vs. Unhinged
MAM gets six runs in the top of the first on singles, and doubles by Roc Akers and Bill Brancato. MAM puts up seven runs in the top of the second on singles, doubles by Roc Akers, Alex Freeman, and Bill Brancato, and a Sean Nonemacher RBI triple. An Andrew Alexander leadoff double nets Unhinged in the bottom of the second. MAM pushes four runs across in the top of the seventh thanks to an RBI double by Adam Lightkep, and a Bill Brancato RBI triple. Unhinged rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with doubles by Andrew Alexander and Leah Wambold. Monsters & Menthols beats Unhinged, 18-4.
Game 2: Man Bear Pigs vs. Sinister
A leadoff double by Steve Sovocool gets MBP a run in the top of the first. Sinister bats around in the bottom of the first to plate THIRTEEN runs on singles, doubles by Scott Forsyth, Brandon Birkhead, and Rae Lombardo, and RBI triples by Ryan Catania and Bob Louderback. MBP adds a run in the top of the third. Andrew Clarke rips an RBI double for Sinister in the bottom of the third. MBP scores another run in the top of the fifth. Brandon Birkhead smashes a grand slam for Sinister in the bottom of the fifth. Sinister destroys Man Bear Pigs, 20-3.
Game 3: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Aces of Bases
HH bats around in the top of the second to put up FIFTEEN runs thanks to doubles by Ryan Goodman and Jim Lalley, and three run homers by Jay Pane and Mary Kate Smith. HH scores five runs in the top of the third on singles, a double by Gary Thompson, and a Mary Kate Smith two run homer. AOB gets on the board in the bottom of the third with two runs on singles. Hagan’s Heroes destroys Aces of Bases, 22-2.
Game 4: Philly Philly vs. Aces of Bases
PP bats around in the top of the first to get ELEVEN runs on singles, and doubles by Jim Costar and Bogan Sullivan. AOB answers with five runs on a Michael E three run homer. AOB pushes four runs acoss in the bottom of the third with triples by Austin G and Adam W. PP adds two runs in the top of the fifth thanks to an RBI double by Charlie Phillips, and a Harrison Leal RBI triple. AOB puts up four runs in the bottom of the fifth thanks to back to back triples by Michael E and Austin G. Aces of Bases squeaks by Philly Philly, 14-13.
