The Hitmen were able to get off to a good start in this one, plating 4 runs in the 1st and adding on 2 in the 2nd inning. Only 1 more insurance run in the 5th was enough to secure them a victory in a close game. Candlewyck was only able to push across 2 runs in total over their first 6 at bats, which dug them a bit of a hole. They did however show some fight in the top of the 7th, scoring 4 runs, but ultimately falling 1 run short.

Hattrick’s Sports Bar was able to more consistently put up runs than their opposition, Scoring multiple runs in 4 separate frames. They were only blanked in 2 of their 6 at bats. The Naturals on the other hand were blanked in 5 of their 7 trips to the plate, while only scoring more than 1 run once in this game.

In a high scoring affair, Hattrick’s poured it on early. They sent 16 batters to the plate and scored 12 runs in the 1st inning alone. They did not stop there however, adding onto their lead in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings. Rolling Rocks however did not just lie down after the 12 run 1st and attempted to claw their way back into it. A 7 run 3rd inning made a good dent in the lead, but hattrick’s offense was too much to overcome in this one.

The Muddogs got off to a good start in the 1st, batting around and plating 8 runs. Do Work had a bit of an answer in the bottom of the 1st, plating 4 runs of their own and cutting the 8 run lead in half. The rest of the game came down to putting up crooked numbers, as Do work was able to score more than 1 run in only the 3rd for the rest of the game. The Muddogs however, put up multiple runs in an additional 3 frames.

Final Score: Bogey Boys 8 vs. Sprouse Electric 8
The final game of the day resulted in the 1st and only tie on the season. The Bogey Boys came out of the gates hot, with 2 in the 1st and 5 in the 2nd. Only one more run over the final 5 frames resulted in them not being able to put this one away. Sprouse was able to chip away throughout the game and finally tie the game with 2 runs in the top of the 7th. Just enough to salvage a tie in the standings.
