Game 1 - Balls Deep Vs Short Bussers - 6/17/2024
Balls deep showed up ready to smash this week coming out blasting in the first inning dropping 5 runs on a few extra base hits and a long ball. The Short Bussers took an inning to respond with 7 runs after being sat down 1-2-3 in the first. The bats were silenced after their aggressive approach in the second was stunted by solid D. Balls Deep plated 22 runs after the first inning as the Short Busses tried to inch back. This contest ended with a score of 27-12 with Balls Deep being the victor. Clear your heads and come back strong next week Short Bussers!

Game 2 - Short Bussers Vs. Jive Turkeys - 6/17/2024
This game was one for the crickets, but on paper, a complete battle from start to finish. The Short Bussers, coming off of a hard loss in the previous game, lacked energy early on only plating 2 in the first inning. These two runs were enough to keep the Jive Turkeys at bay and obtain the momentum, until the 2nd inning came around. The Short Bussers were silenced, plating none as the Jive Turkeys unloaded all of their stuffing, plating 5 clutch runs on a few singles and extra base hits. After that short burst of energy, the Short Bussers took over the show scattering 8 runs scored from the 3rd through the 5th inning. These runs were enough to trump the Turkeys by a score of 10-9. Tight game. We hope for a little more juice out of both teams next week!

Game 3 - Big Mac Attack Vs. The Generals - 6/17/2024
Big Bac Attack was on the struggle bus tonight and it showed. The energy and momentum were controlled by The Generals from the 2nd inning on, scoring 9 in the second on 3 singles, 1 double, a triple and timely error in right. After the 2nd inning, Big Mac went limp only plating 5 runs all game and The Generals took the cake with a score of 18-5. Way to swing the bats Generals! Big Mac, you have some reps to find this week in preparation for Monday night. Come out strong and turn this week around!
