SOFTBALL AMERICA continued...
Privately owned and operated since 1994, we specialize in managing recreational slow pitch softball. We offer 3 seasons of softball, (Spring, Summer, and Fall), with 7 leagues for each season. The year kicks off in mid-March and runs to mid-November. Leagues operate from Sunday to Friday. You can choose from 3 different men's leagues - Sunday Morning, Tuesday and Thursday Evenings, or 4 different coed leagues - Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. GAMES continued...
ASA sanctioned professional umpires officiate every game. Morning games begin at 8:30 am, afternoon games at 2:00 pm. Weeknight games are 6:30, 7:45, 9:00, and 10:15 pm. The competition is relaxed in all leagues. While everyone wants to win, the emphasis in Softball America is on having fun. All league championship teams receive a championship plaque and custom championship shirts at our Winter Awards Banquet. STATISTICS continued...
Extensive personal and team stats are recorded, cumulated and posted weekly, both on our stat board at the field and here on the Official Softball America Website. Statistics include games, at bats, runs, hits, singles, doubles, triples, home runs, RBIs, batting average, slugging %, walks, put outs, assists, errors, pitcher wins, losses, innings pitched and earned run average. Yearly and Lifetime statistics are maintained on a yearly basis in no less than 25 different categories. back to home page

THE BALL FIELD continued…
Sporting a state of the art electronic scoreboard in left center, the Eureka Quarry Field is one of the nicest around. Built to ASA specifications, the field has a 300' fenced outfield with warning track, Diamond Tex infield mix, break-away safety bases, bleachers, snack bar, restrooms, ample parking, and is professionally lighted with close to 30 high-powered lamps. The infield is manicured before each night's / day's games. Additional ball fields are located in Horsham and Hatfield Townships. back to home page

THE AWARDS BANQUET is held in the off-season on the last Sunday in February. League members, spouses, friends and relatives are welcome to attend.The banquet is an extra-special affair where league champions are awarded their shirts, MVPs are announced and receive their due recognition, and announcements are made regarding the upcoming year. It's an event that bridges one year of softball with another. It is a time when old teams reunite and new teams are formed. It is a whole lot of fun for all. back to home page
