Three truckloads of infield mix are slated for delivery to the Quarry ball field this coming Friday at 7 am. A 3,000 ton Bobcat skid steer will be dropped off Thursday evening.

I know a lot of you infielders have been wondering when this was going to get done. Yes, it's taken awhile, but it's not an easy task to coordinate. We've been trying to resurface the infield for almost 2 months. What some don't understand is the weather has to cooperate along with the availability of Tim O'Shea and a few groundskeepers to help spread the mix. Tim has been doing our infield for the past 20 years. He knows what needs to be done and he knows how to do it. Spreading infield mix is a lot different than spreading dirt and not many know how to do it right.

Hopefully, everything falls into place and we can finish in time for Friday playoffs. Barring the unforeseen, that should not be a problem.
