Game #1 – The Bar Closers vs. Maize
The Closers come out swinging and grab four runs out of the gate. Joe Perry would bring in a run on a double, followed by a two run double from Stefano Giuliani. Kevin Udris would bring in one on a single of his own before sending us to the bottom of the inning. Closers will shut it down defensively and then come right back to the scoring train in the second with eight more runs. Ed Reynolds bring in two runs on a double, Perry brings in two runs on a triple and Giuliani delivers the big shot with a two run bomb. Perry will add another run on a sac fly before Maize will finally get on the board. Aaron Worthington will bring the offense with a two run homer, while Tom Egitto brings in a run on a double. We fast forward to the sixth inning and last inning, where Maize will bat around and have their best inning of the day.
