Game #1 – Bat Intentions vs. Wehrungs

This game would be dominated by defense as we would have a low scoring affair in this one. Bat Intentions will strike first in the third inning with a two run single from Greg Rielly and RBI triple from Jimmy Costar as they lead 4-0. Intentions will add two more runs across the fourth and fifth inning on a fielder’s choice from Justin R and RBI single from Tom B Jr. Again, both teams pick it up in the field and shut it down defensively as Wehrung’s will manage the last run, coming in the seventh inning on an Adam Hendricks RBI single as they will fall in this one by a final score of 6-1.

Game #2 – Bat Intentions vs. Quality Landscape

Intentions got themselves a double header today as they come out firing in their second game, having the momentum from game one carrying over. Tom B Jr. Will start the scoring with an RBI double, followed by RBI singles from Anthony R, Tom F and Jim L. Andrew R will add two more runs later in the inning on a triple as they lead 8-0. Intentions then shut it down in the field for two innings as they don’t allow any runs. Intentions grab five more in the second as they push their lead up to 13-0. Jimmy C gets into the action with an RBI single, while Tom B Jr. And Tom F knock in runs on doubles. Intentions will keep their onslaught going into the fourth and fifth innings at they grab eight more runs. Marcus G added two runs on singles while Tom B Jr. Added another RBI on a single. Intentions will shut it down defensively and win this one. Bat Intentions win 21-4.

Game #3 – Carroll’s vs. The Runs

Bill S will get this game rolling with their first runs on a two-run single to take an early lead. Runs will answer with two runs of their own on a Kyle E two run single. Carroll’s will come back to take the lead in the second as they bat around and have a very big inning. Steve D and Lauren K starts the scoring with back to back RBI singles and then a couple of batters later, John Z and Sarah Y go back to back with singles to score three more runs. Greg L provides the big hit with a two run triple to make this a 10-2 game. Carolls would shut them down in the bottom half of the second and come right back in the third to start putting this game away. Carrolls would get 10 runs across the third and fourth innings, getting offensive outputs from Kevin S with three RBI’s on a double, three runs on a Mike S single and a run on Kyle G triple. Greg L will add a late home run bomb to put this game away. Carrolls win 21-6.

Game #4 – Knuckleheads vs. Carrolls

Carroll’s will get their second game of the night as the home team giving up two runs to Knuckleheads. Keith K brings in a run on a single, while Wayne H brings in a run on a sac fly. They would respond with four runs in the bottom of the inning. Kyle G provides two runs on a single and Bryan B brings in a run on a double. Knuckleheads will explode in the second for 11 runs. Jamie Burns brings in two runs on a single, while Jon Poore delivers the big shot with a bases clearing double. Brittany Ullman, Ben Razzi and Wayne H bring in runs on singles as well. Carroll’s will continue to fight and add two runs in the bottom of the inning on a Sarah Yoos and Greg Lesher RBI single. Knuckleheads will continue to be red hot at the plate as they continue to knock in some runs. Jamie Burns will add two more runs on a hit while Pierre G bring sin a run on a double. Carroll’s will start to get shut done at the plate by some immaculate defense by the Knuckleheads and they will continue to fall behind. This game would go seven, but Knuckleheads will keep the pressure on and win this one. Knuckleheads win 27-11.
