Game 1: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Only Fans
OF takes an early lead with a run in the bottom of the first. Mark Cooper blasts a three run homer for HH in the top of the second. Sean Murphy jacks a two run homer for OF in the bottom of the second. HH adds two runs in the top of the third. Jon Poore launches a two run homer for OF in the bottom of the third. HH puts up four runs in the top of the sixth thanks to an RBI double by Keith Keppley, and a Kyle Rizzi RBI triple. Mark Cooper jacks a solo homer for HH in the top of the seventh. Hagan’s Heroes tops Only Fans, 11-7.
Game 2: Monsters & Menthols vs. Slashers
Sean Nonemacher and Brian Dart jack back to back homers for MAM in the top of the first. Scott Gerhart rips an RBI double for the Slashers in the bottom of the first. MAM bats around in the top of the third to score THIRTEEN runs on doubles by Brian Dart, Tom Koelzer, Eric Schade, Nate Evans, and TJ Runner, and a Brian Dart three run homer. MAM plates nine runs in the top of the fourth with doubles by Sean Nonemacher, Brian Dart, and Eric Schade, and three run homers by Tom Koelzer and Eric Schade. Monsters & Menthols destroy the Slashers, 26-2.
Game 3: Outkasts vs. Trash Pandas
The Outkasts bat around in the top of the first to pick up TEN runs thanks to singles, a triple by Time Frei, and a homer by Jimmy Craig. TP answers with a run in the bottom of the first. Tim Frei jacks a solo homer for the Outkasts in the top of the second. Harry Steglich smokes an RBI triple for TP in the bottom of the second. Eight runs cross the plate for the Outkasts in the top of the third on singles, and RBI doubles by Casey Condron, Beau Ziegler, and Blake Margot. Derek Strohwouer smashes a two run homer for TP in the bottom of the fourth. The Outkasts beat up on the Trash Pandas, 22-5.
Game 4: Man Bear Pigs vs. Philly Junk
PJ bats around in the bottom of the first to put up TEN runs on singles, a three run triple by Brandon Birkhead, and a two run homer by Birkhead as well. Brandon Birkhead blasts an other two run homer for PJ in the bottom of the third. Walks get MBP on the board with two runs in the top of the fourth. A leadoff double by Justin Glennon nets MBP a run in the top of the fifth. Five runs cross the plate for PJ in the bottom of the fifth thanks to singles, and doubles by Jarrett Kerns and Ryan Kerns. Philly Junk makes quick work of the Man Bear Pigs, 18-3.
