Game 1: 4th seed To Be Determined vs 5th seed Kings Corner
Kings Corner can only plate 3 men in 6 innings. Sean Nonnemacher doubles. Meanwhile, TBD gets just 5 in the 1st 5 innings. doubles come from Collin Sheehan and Steven Gebre. In the 6th, TBD adds 2 on a Jimmy Wiegers double and a Steve Gebre triple. In the top of the 7th, Kings Corner comes alive and scores 6 to take a 9-7 lead. Justin Miller homers along with Chris Beatty. Needing 3 to walk it off in the bottom of the 7th, Dylan Smith leads off with a double and scores on Nick Bennet's single, and an error lets the final 2 runs in for the To Be Determined win, 10-9.
Game 2: 3rd seed Dingers vs 6th seed Dingers
Dingers score in 6 of their 7 innings while playing with 8 and taking a batting out. Nick Bontempo doubles twice and triples. Connor O'Keefe triples. Bayley Jaminis doubles and homers, collecting 6 RBIs. Mike Casbar triples. David Iatarolla doubles. Austin Chase doubles. On the other side of the page, Beers scores early and often in every inning. Ryan Maley doubles and triples while going 5 for 5. Tim Coleman doubles and triples. Scott Runzer triples 3 times. Evan Gutman doubles, and sacrifices, going 4 for 4. Kelly Adams doubles. Game 3: Top seed Wire2Wire Sports Podcast vs 4th seed To Be Determined
TBD starts out slowly and scores just2 runs in the 1st 3 innings, but plates 6 in the 4th. Matt Kilkenny starts off the game with a blast over the fence and then doubles in the 3rd. Collin Sheehan doubles. Steve Gebre triples. Connor Hood doubles. Wire2Wire on the other side of the page scores just 4 in 5 innings. Joe DiMezza doubles, Brandon Bozek doubles, Brian Dart doubles. In the top of the 5th, TBD widens their lead with a Kilkenny homer, a Sheehan triple and a Gebre homer. Wire2Wire make it a 1 run game in the bottom of the 6th by scoring 6. Dart and Bill Walker both double. TBD takes a 3 run lead in the top of the 7th on walks, a couple of singes and and error. In the bottom of the 7th, looking for the dramatic walk off win, Wire2Wire have 1 on with 2 outs. Jake McDevitt doubles in a run, and Gene Walczak knocks in another with a single, but their drama ends there. To Be Determined holds on for the 13-12 win and a trip to the 'chip!
Game 4: 2nd seed and defending fall champions Philly Junk vs 3rd seed Beers
Beers are gonna need a lot of runs to overcome the powerhouse of Philly Junk. They start off with a 3 doubles in a row from Connor MacFalrlane, Tim Coleman and Scott Runzer, but can only score 2 in the top of the 1st. They get a solo homer from Kelly Adams in the 2nd, and a two run blast from Adams in the 4th to score a total of 6 runs in 4 innings. Meanwhile, Philly Junk does what they do. Batting 10 of their 11 men in the 1st, they score 7. Pat Kelley, Shane Hanna, and Tom Ivers all double and Brandon Birkhead homers. In the 2nd, Hanna homers. Philly Junk bats around in the 3rd to score 7. Birky homers again along with Evan Porter. Mike Bitterlich doubles along with Ryan Habel. They'll score 11 in the bottom of the 4th to put this game away early. Porter homers again, Tom Koelzer homers VInny Catagnus blasts one over the fence, Bitterlich homers, Ivers doubles again as does Habel. Philly Junk is going back to defend their fall championship with a 26-6 win over Beers!
