Game #1 – The Maize vs. Phanatics
Phanatics will come out firing as they score seven right off the bat. Dave Porco gets the scoring started with a solo homer, followed by a Bill Jones RBI double. Lucy O’Connor will add another run on a single, while Porco rounds out the inning with a single, scoring two more runs. Phanatics will get three more runs in the second with RBI singles from Paul O’Connor, Karen Kalinowsky and Ray Jones. Maize continues to struggle as they don’t score any runs for the first three innings. Phanatics get three more runs in the bottom of the third, as they continue to cook at the plate. Mike Ercolino knocks in a run on a double, Paul O’Connor knocks in two runs on a double and Mike Van Fossen and Ray Jones knock in a run on singles. Maize will grab a lonely run in the fourth, but this game will end early as Phanatics are all over them in this one. Phanatics win 18-1.

Game #2 – GFP vs. Carroll’s Jewelers
We get the next game started looking for a little bit of a closer game, but like much of the same in the first game, GFP will jump all over Carroll’s early. GFP will come out to score 19 runs total in the first two innings. Doubles nonny knocks in two runs on a double, Triples Brancato knocks in two runs on a triple, Cooper knocks in two runs on a triple and Eric Schade knocks in two runs on a double. The entire team was in the action in this one as everyone on the team at least had an RBI single across the two innings. Carroll’s will get four runs back in the third, on a Greg Lesher two run double and John Zeits RBI single. They will get three more runs in the fourth on a Lesher RBI single, Bryan Bart RBI double and Brian Sauers RBI triple. GFP will get four more runs in the fourth to put this game to bed. Doubles Nonny turns in Triples Nonny as he nets two more RBI’s and they cruise to a win. GFP wins 24-4.

Game #3 – Bat Intentions vs. Altek
Our final game of the night will get started with a Selina Alicea RBI single as Bat Intentions take a 1-0 lead. Altek will answer back with four runs in the bottom of the inning. Brandon Smith nets the first run on a sac fly, which is then followed by a two run bomb from Kevin Cwikla and then a Chris Lento RBI single. Kyle Smith smashes a two run bomb into the woods that was approaching a house, which makes it a 6-3 game. Bat Intentions would struggle to score in this one as they only score one more run in the fifth on a Carly Levin RBI single. Altek will slow down as well as they get two runs in the fourth on a Brandon Smith RBI triple and Cwikla RBI double. A Brandon Smith RBI single will really finish this game off as Altek will get the win on this great Saturday. Altek wins 9-4.
