Game #1 – Knuckleheads vs. Wehrung’s
We will get this Saturday edition at Hatfield started with a two run double from Luke Hendricks. Lowell Snyder will also add an RBI single to make this a 3-0 game. Knuckleheads will go down in the first inning without any runs, but will get a couple in the second inning. Dylan Gallagher will deliver the blow with a two run bomb to make it a 3-2 game. Knuckleheads will have a big inning in the third and bat around. Jonny Poore will start the madness with a three run bomb, followed by a two run bomb off the bat of Gallagher, his second of the game. Mike Marnoch will round out the inning with an RBI single. Wehrung’s will match with a big inning of their own, grabbing five runs in the bottom of the inning. Luke Hendricks delivers the big shot with a grand slam. After those big innings from both teams though, both teams will go ice cold. Weather must have played a factor as there would only be one more run scored for the rest of the game. This was on a fielder’s choice from Paul Muth. This would also end up being the game winner as Wehrung’s will take it. Wehrung’s win 9-8.
