In the bottom of the 5th Cody Runner’s RBI single and an RBI sac fly pushed Cobras lead to 9-4. Doc’s would get one run back in the top of the 6th to trim the deficit to four, but they were running out of time and needed to hold Cobras to give themselves a chance in the 7th to make a comeback. After getting 2 outs with 2 runners on base, Cobras delivered again as Andrew Coates hit an RBI single while Dan Roman and Clayton hit a couple RBI doubles to score four insurance runs and put the game out of reach. Purple Cobras win 13-7 over Doc’s and advance to the semis to take on One Hit Wonders.
