Game 1: Mayhem scores 8 in the 1st 3 innings. Steve Sovocol and Tom Hayes both double, and Hayes triples as well. Harry Steglich knocks in 3 with a blast over the fence. Meanwhile, Disciples can only score 2 in the same. Sean Murphy doubles and Dante Moore homers. Mayhem plates 2 more in the 5th on Tom Hayes homer (we're now on a "cycle watch" for Tom. He needs just the single!). Disciples get 5 in the 6th to make it a 3-run game. Richie Hall collects 3 RBIs on a dinger. In the top of the 7th, Amy Potts and Tim Hearn both double, and Tom Hayes comes to the plate needing a single for the cycle. Alas, he grounds out to end the inning, but still puts up nice stats for the game - 3 hits, a double and triple, and 5 RBIs. Disciples need 3 to tie and 4 to walk it off in the bottom of the 7th. They get a leadoff homer from Richie Fluck, but stall after that. Mayhem hangs on to win game 1, 10-8.

Game 2: Disciples start out on fire, batting around and scoring 9 in the 1st. Sean Murphy and Darren Hughes both double, and Dante Moore homers, knocking in 3. They'll add 3 more in the 2nd before Mayhem can score. Brad Shuck homers. Mayhem gets 1 on the board in the 2nd with Casey Condron doubling. Disciples add 5 more in the 3rd. Murph doubles again along with Hughes, and Trevor Watts homers. They'll add 5 more in the top of the 4th to make it a 22-1 game. Hughes legs out his 3rd double and 7th RBI of the game, and Rob Schuck adds a double. Mayhem adds 2 in the 4th with Steven Sovocol tripling. They'll score just 4 in the bottom of the 5th with doubles coming from Tim Hearn, Rob Worthington, and Eric Rosenblum, but it's not enough. Disciples crush Mayhem, 22-7.

Game 3, the "rubber match": Mayhem starts off big with 7 runs in the 1st. Randy Worthington doubles and Steve Skedzielewski triples in 2 runs. They'll add 1 more in the 4th with Amy Potts doubling, and 3 more in the 5th with Josh Sovocol tripling in 2 runs. 6 more cross for Mayhem in the top of the 7th before Disciples can plate any runs. Steven Sovocol doubles and Derek Strowhouer blasts a grand slam for Mayhem. FINALLY, Disciples get on the board in the bottom of the 7th. Darren Hughes opens the scoring with a solo shot over the fence. Richie Fluck doubles, and Nate Giambattista knocks in 3 with a 3-run homer. Unfortunately, it's too little too late. Disciples stall there, and Mayhem takes game 3 and the championship, 17-5.
