Game 1

Birds of War VS Stiff Sox


We have a scoreless first inning to start our day before Birds of War starts the scoring with a leadoff triple from Ryan Thompson and an RBI single from John Laino. Stiff Sox answers right back with a Home Run from Brian Delucas and then a 2 RBI single from Tyler Fornwalt to take a 3-1 lead. Birds of War bats around in the third, with rbi singles from Tom Bush and John Laino and a 2 rbi single from Chris Day to knock in 5. Stiff Sox keeps it close with a 2 RBI single from Brian Delucas in the bottom of the third though. Birds of War extends the lead to two when Matt Jacobson scores on an error and adds another in the fifth when Austin Devlin scores on an error. Stiff Sox storms back in the 6th and gets within 1 after an RBI single from Jimmy Templeton and 2 Run Home Run from Tyler Fornwalt. Birds of War adds one late on a bases load walk from Chris Day to give Birds of War a 2-run lead going into the bottom of the seventh. Jim Kullman leads off with a single and scores on a Jeff Rodriguez sac fly, but Stiff Sox can’t find a second run to tie the game and fall short.

Game 2

Balls Deep VS Wild Fire


A scoreless first for the second game in a row leads to a huge second inning for Balls Deep. In the top of the second they go down 1-2 and then with two outs rattle off 8 runs, with Steve Taylor and Ken Huber knocking in one each off a single and double respectively. They both score on an error and then Tim Frei knocks in two with an RBI double and then Tim Gluck knocks him in with an RBI single. In the bottom of the second Tony Sanchez knocks one in on an RBI double/. Balls Deep keeps it going in the third with RBI doubles from Will Schultz and Tim Fossile and an RBI single from Ken Huber. They add another in the 4th with a Tim Gluck RBI sac fly. Wild Fire gets one back with an Eric Simonait sac fly but Balls Deep comes right back in the fifth. They score 5 with a 3 RBI single from Steve Taylor, rbi double from Ken Huber, and RBI single from Tommy Gallo. Wild Fire shows some life with three runs, two on an error and an RBI single from Phil Purchase, but Balls Deep doesn’t relent. They score 3 more, with an RBI single from Tim Foissle and two RBI single from Mike Gallo, to extend the lead to 15. Wild Fire cant score and this one ends early.

Game 3

Dugout Demons VS Philly’s Phinest


We have our first game with action in the first inning with Dugout Demons scoring one in the first off a Sean Brennan sac fly. Not to be outdone, Philly’s Phinest grabs two off a Mike Rocks Jr rbi double and Ray Rocks sac fly. The second is an explosion of offense with an RBI single from Scott Masulis and Jimmy Natale and rbi walk from AJ Dejewski for Dugout Demons to add 5 before Philly’s Phinest adds 6 of their own. Drew Costello knocks in a two run Home Run, Scott Vogelman adds two on a single, and Mike Rocks Jr adds one on a double. Dugout Demons gets within one with a solo Home Run from John Wagner in the third and a defensive stop. They take the lead in the fourth with RBI singles from Christian Wagner and TJ Pergine. They add to the lead in the fifth with a rbi single from Jimmy Rosuos, rbi double from Scott Masulis, and 2 RBI single from Matt Cartwright. Philly’s Phinest refuses to go down though and tie the game back up, scoring 6 in the 5th with an RBI double from Mike Rocks Jr, sac fly from Ray Rocks, rbi double from Mike Rocks SR who subsequently scores on an error. Dugout Demons snatches the lead right back in the sixth with a 2 RBI double from John Wagner and RBI single from Nate Gregory. Philly’s Phinest gets it within one when Chase Rommel scores on an error and Chris Rocks scores on a Scott Vogelman sac fly. Dugout Demons is held scoreless in the 7th and in the bottom of the seventh, down one, they get two runners on, but can’t capitalize and fall short.

Game 4

Web Gems VS Dugout Demons

Web Gems get RBI singles from Arik Fenton and Eric Wren and a 3 run Home Run from John Uccelletti to jump out to a 5-0 lead and holds Dugout Demons scoreless in the first despite Demons loading the bases. They get RBI singles from Arik Fenton and Eric Wren and a 3 run Home Run from John Uccelletti. Web Gems extends the lead with a 3 Run Home Run from Arik Fenton.but Dugout Demons gets one back off a Pat O’Brien rbi single. Web Gems adds two more with a 2 Run Home Run from Eric Wren. Dugout Demons gets one back on a TJ Pergine solo shot and they finally hold Web Gems scoreless in the 4th. They take advantage of it and get a grand slam from TJ Pergine, his second Home Run of the game, to cut the lead to 4. Web Gems gets 3 more in the 5th, with a 3 RBI triple from Eric Wren and rbi single from Justin Perloff. Demons answer back with a rbi single from Matt Cartwright and a 3 run Home Run from… this time Jimmy Natalie. They hold Web Gems scoreless and lead off in the 6th with a TJ Pergine at bat. He stays hot with his THIRD HOME RUN of the day, a solo shot, and then lets John Wagner know his ways before John Wagner crushes a 2 run home run of his own. Jimmy Rosuos gets an RBI single to extend the lead to two and Dugout Demons have mounted an 8 run comeback to take the lead going into the seventh. John Uccelletti does everything he can to start the inning, with a solo shot of his own, but the next three batters only have warning track power and Web Gems fall just short.
