Game 1: Dirty Balls @ Short Bussers (6/10/2024)
This game was nothing short of a blow-out as Dirty Balls came out firing on all cylinders Monday night. Walks were the enemy today for the Short Bussers and Dirty Balls made them pay. Scoring 5 runs in the first and 11 in the second, Dirty Balls set the tone early and the Short Bussers couldn't answer until the 3rd inning, scoring only 1 run. This contest ended with a score of 19-4. Hopefully Short Bussers can re-group this weekend and come back strong on Monday.
Game 2: Dirty Balls @ Big Mac Attack (6/10/2024)
Dirty balls carried their heat from Game 1 into Game 2 vs. Big Mac Attack plating the first 7 batters. Big Mac answered with 3 runs in the first but it wasn't enough to stun Dirty Balls as the run scoring onslaught continued. 1 Homer, 4 Triples, 6 doubles 21 singles, 4 walks and a whole lot of energy were the ingredients for this monstrous dub as Dirty Balls steam-rolled Big Mac Attack 26-11. Big Mac Attack has some work to do this weekend as they prepare to come out strong next week!
Game 3: Generals @ Jive Turkeys (6/10/2024)
The bats were quiet today for the Jive Turkeys as they got put away silently through the first two innings. Meanwhile, the Generals came out with a solid plan of attack, plating 6 in the first two innings off of 7 singles, a double and a triple. Their bats held strong scoring 4 through the 4th inning until they exploded with 9 runs in the 5th off of a Grand Salami from Chris Forester, a 2 run ding ding from Joe Aloiz and some timely base hits. This game was no contest as the Generals pummeled the Jive Turkeys with a score of 21-9. The Turkeys better turn this around going into next week, or they'll be served with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy Monday night.
