Game 1: Wire2Wire Sports Podcast vs Kings Corner
Kings Corner opens the game with 5 runs in the 1st. Matt Schaub homers and knocks in 3. Wire2Wire answer back with 3 of their own in the bottom. They'll add 4 more in the 2nd, with Brian Dart homering and Sean "Preppie" Butrica doubling. Kings Corner gets 3 in the 3rd to take a 8-7 lead. Mike Capacchione doubles in 2 runs. Wire2Wire tie it up in the bottom when Bill Walker triples and scores on Jake McDevitt's RBI single. They'll take a huge lead in the the 4th by batting around and scoring 8. Dart triples, and McDevitt, Eric Dillon, and Jim Chapman all double. Wire2Wire blow it wide open in the bottom of the 5th and score 7 more. Joe Dimezza and Dart both double, and Alex Freeman blasts a 2-run homer. Eric Dillon gets the RBI walk off fielder's choice to end this game early. Wire2Wire wins in 5, 23-8.
Game 2: Calcium Cannons vs Beers
Cannons blast thru the 1st 3 innings and score 9. Brett Severio triples, doubles, and singles. Jayson White triples, Ian Cuozzo homers. Drew Finney triples and Brandon Bozek triples. Beers don't just lay down though. They put up 12 in the 1st 2 innings and hold a 12-9 lead after 3. Ryan Maley doubles twice, Connor MacFarlane doubles, and Scott Runzer triples. Calcium Cannons take the lead in the 4th with 5 runs. Ian Cuozzo blasts a 3-run dinger over the fence. Beers wait until the 5th to retake the lead with a 6 run inning. Maley and Ryan Calabro both triple. Cannons make it close in the top of the 6th with 3 runs, cutting Beers lead to 18-17. White triples for Cannons. Beers widen their lead in the bottom of the 6th with a Ryan Calabro grand slam, and I guess we run out of time for a 7th. Beers win, 22-17.
Game 3: To Be Determined vs Dingers
TBD blast out 16 runs in the 1st 4 innings. Tyler Stone doubles. Collin Sheehan doubles twice and homers. Jimmy Weiger doubles twice. Tyler Delzell doubles. Matt Bound doubles. For Dingers, Derrick Aker doubles and homers, John Carrol doubles twice, and Bayley Jamanis doubles in the 1st 4 innings to put up 7 runs. TBD adds a double by Sheehan and a triple from Weigers on their way to 2 more runs in the 5th. Dingers answer back with 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th. Eric Popler triples and Jamanis doubles. After no one scores in the 6th, its an 18-10 game in favor of TBD. TBD adds FOURTEEN (14) in the top of the 7th to take a 32-10 lead. Sheehan doubles along with Mike Kilkenny. Facing an insurmountable deficit, Dingers valiantly put up 2 runs with Dave Iotarolla, Gerry Lang, and Derrick Acker all doubling, but this game is over. TBD wins by 20, 32-12.
Game 4: Shake-N-Bake vs Philly Junk
Shake-N-Bake take an early lead with 4 runs in the 1st. Dave Shannon doubles. Philly Junk promptly take back the lead in the bottom by batting around and scoring 14. Shane Hanna doubles, Brandon Birkhead doubles, Ryan Habel doubles twice, and Tyler Gower doubles. They'll add 2 more in the 2nd after Ashworth homers and Birkhead doubles to take a 16-4 lead. Shake-N-Bake chip away with 2 runs in the 3rd when Dave Carson triples. Philly Junk add 2 more in the 3rd on Tom Ivers and Jason Ashworth doubles. They'll bat around again in the 4th and score 8 to put this game away. Philly Junk wins in 4, 26-6.
