League veteran Keith Keppley has been on a tear in the Wednesday Open League. With 7 games played, Keith has 27 runs scored and 29 hits. With 2 runs scored tomorrow evening he breaks the men's runs league mark of 28. With 3 hits, he breaks the men's hits mark with 32. Good luck, Keith.

Keith managed to break the runs-scored record of 28, crossing the plate for the 29th time in the Wednesday Open league. Being this is an open league, the decision to overwrite the existing men's league runs-scored record or make this record an adjunct to the current men's league record has yet to be determined. Either way, it will stand as a record.

He's back!

Last season, Sean Nonemacher tied the men's league record for doubles in a single season with 14 while playing for Kings Corner in the Tuesday Men's league. His assault on the record continues this season. Playing for Hooligan's in the Thursday Men's league, Sean has 13 2-baggers with 2 games left to play. This is a 23-year old record he is about to obliterate. He will also shatter and extend the yearly doubles record of 54 which he currently owns. Sean has 51 doubles and we aren't even finished with the summer season. Nice job outta you, Mr. Nonny!

This past summer, playing for the Thursday Men's Hooligans squad, Sean Nonemacher completely demolished the men's league seasonal doubles record by hitting 17 2-baggers. The previous record of 14 was established 23 years ago by John Proietto (2000) and equalled by Sean in 2022.

In the yearly records department, this year Sean has already crushed his own doubles record of 54. He currently has 68 doubles and the fall season has just begun. Could we see 100 yearly 2Bs?

A no-hitter in slow-pitch softball is a very rare occurrence. I can vaguely remember a no-hitter years ago, but have no particulars on it. Last night in the Tuesday Men's league, Bill Shallcross tossed a no-no. He wasn't even aware of it until he was informed of the feat once the game ended. Congrats to Bill and the Wire2Wire Sports Podcast guys on defense that no doubt played a part.

The single season men's league batting record has fallen by the wayside. Set back in 2003, Frank Hackett batted 903 (28/31) in the Tuesday Men's spring league. That record stood for 21 years. This spring season, Chris Knechel batted 929 (25/27) in the Friday Men's league. With a minimum of 24 ABs needed to qualify, Chris now owns the league batting record. Congrats Chris Knechel!

Kyle Rossi (Bush Bumpers) - Thursday Men's A - has tied one record and shattered another.

This spring season, Rossi tied the single season men's RBI record set by Mike Haberle in 2014 by driving home 42 runs. In addition, he crushed the slugging % record set also by Haberle in 2014 by over 200 pts. Rossi powered his way to a 2.630 slugging %. Incredible start to the year.

Richie Zupkuski (Unhinged) - Sunday Men's B South has tied the single season RBI mark of 42.

I'd like to congratulate Brittany Ullman on getting her 1,000 career coed hit. The big hit came when she singled in her 5th AB against Alaskan Bullworms.

Move over Christen Flaherty, Lisa Silvestri, Kris Pulli and make room from Brittany Ullman who has reached the rarefied air of 1,000 hits. Congrats Brit!

Philly Junk (Tuesday Mens) has shattered the single season team home run record that had stood for the last 16 years. In 2009, 99 Restaurant hit 53 dingers in 8 games. Philly Junk finished with 68 home runs this spring, crushing the old record by 15, and surpassing 53 in only 7 games.

While every single player on Philly Junk finished with at least 1 HR, the offense was lead by Pat Kelley who contributed 16 of the 68. He also broke 4 single season mens league records along the way:
- 44 At Bats (previous record 41)
- 31 Runs (previous record 29)
- 37 Hits (previous record 31)
- 44 RBIs (previous record 42)
