Game 1: The Generals @ Dirty Balls
With both teams scoring in the 1st inning, we knew this was going to be a battle. The Generals came out swinging and scored 2 runs in the first off of a single and 2 doubles. Dirty Balls struck back, scoring 3 off of an error, 3 singles and a fielder's choice. The Generals scored 3 in the second and Dirty Balls answered with 2 singles, 3 doubles and another bomb by Tim Frei. The remainder of the game was back and forth and came down to a long wire until Dirty Balls sat them down 1-2-3 in the 7th to finish the game with a score of 14-17. Great work, Dirty! Way to come back Strong!

Game 2: Jive Turkeys @ Bomb Squad
Jive Turkeys flipped the script and came out on the hunt! Bomb Squad was stunned when JT dropped 5 runs in the first 2 innings. Jive Turkeys only had 9 players and let the league know they will not be gobbled easily. The game reached it's peak and all spectators knew it was over in the 4th when Jive Turkeys added their 5 insurance runs to make it 11 - 7. Bomb squad fought back with 2 homers in the 4th by Gene Walczak & Mike Koelzer. They scored another 2 in the bottom of the 6th, but that was not enough to take the cake as Jive Turkeys served up a platter of Bomb Squad at their weekend gathering with a meat to bone ratio of 12-9. Way to shock the world, Y'all. Great work!
