Game 1: Trash Pandas vs. Philly Philly
A double by Brandon Crockett helps TP to get three runs in the top of the first. PP gets on the board in the bottom of the third with two runs. TP adds two runs in the top of the fourth. Linda Luscombe rips a two run double for PP in the bottom of the fourth. TP bats around in the top of the fifth to score ELEVEN runs thanks to walks, singles, and doubles by Eric Adiletto and Arik Fenton. The Trash Pandas take care of Philly Philly, 16-4.
Game 2: Hagan’s Heroes vs. Sinister
HH gets two runs in the top of the second on walks and singles. Sinister answers with four runs on singles, and a Rae Lombardo RBI triple. HH adds a run in the top of the third. Brandon Birkhead blasts a solo homer for Sinister in the bottom of the third. HH plates five runs in the top of the sixth thanks to singles, and a double by Ron Pulli. Singles lead to three runs for Sinister in the bottom of the sixth. HH scores six runs in the top of the seventh on singles, and a bases loaded triple by Phil Lipton. Hagan’s Heroes tops Sinister, 15-10.
Game 3: Unhinged vs. Monsters & Menthols
Unhinged puts up five runs in the top of the first with two run homers by Rich Z and Syd Jake. MAM answers with two runs on singles in the bottom of the first. Dan Vescovi smokes an RBI double for Unhinged in the top of the third. MAM bats around in the bottom of the third to pick up seven runs thanks to singles. John Erb rips a two run double for Unhinged in the top of the fifth. MAM rallies for two runs in the bottom of the seventh with a two run homer by Sean Nonemacher. Unhinged ties Monsters & Menthols, 12-12.
Game 4: Man Bear Pigs vs. Aces of Bases
MBP takes the early lead with five runs in the top of the first on singles, an RBI double by Bill Hamlet, and a Steve Sovocool RBI triple. Steve Sovocool jacks a three run homer for MBP in the top of the second. Tyler Murphy smashes a two run homer for AOB in the bottom of the third. Steve Sovocool blasts another three run homer for MBP in the top of the fourth. AOB adds three runs in the bottom of the fourth. Singles lead to three runs for MBP in the top of the sixth. AOB bats around in the bottom of the sixth to push six runs across on errors, singles, and a two run double by Tyler Murphy. The Man Bear Pigs beat Aces of Bases, 15-11.
